Full Moon Lundarune Eclipse-Planet Earth Hangs in the Balance

The full moon lunar eclipse this month occurs on June 26, 7:30 AM, EST at 4 degrees of Capricorn. Capricorn is the natural ruler of the tenth house of business and priorities, and things related to the earth. Its ruler is Saturn, the planet of structure and stability. Numerous other planets are playing a role in this eclipse making it worthy of our attention, interest and caution. The full moon is conjunct Pluto, the planet known as ‘The God of the Underworld.’ Pluto rules oil, power struggles, control and the dark and hidden undercurrents as well as events and situations that are previously hidden. We may be certain the media will play a role in events that transpire. There will be a focus on health, transportation and communications. Discontent will permeate society, and there is a theme of obsession, conspiracies, coercive tactics and danger.
The Moon/Pluto conjunction opposes the Sun and Mercury, and squares Jupiter and Uranus. The potential exists for security around the world to be undermined and we may see events related to the earth itself, accidents, and situations that threaten stability and planet Earth.
Eclipse events begin to unfold long before the minute the actual eclipse occurs, and the energy of an eclipse can last for months, even years. It is an intense time, and we can expect that both in our personal lives and the world we will see events that occur unexpectedly and without warning, along with potential that events that have been unknown up to this point will be revealed.
There are a number of transits leading up to this eclipse that will make the second half of June a wild ride, to say the least. Expect to see a continuation of news relating to the Gulf oil spill. The American people and the world have not been told the truth about the ramifications of this situation and as long as the oil continues to flow into our oceans, the continent and all life dependent upon the sea will continue to die, not to mention the people in the Gulf area who make their living in fishing, tourism, the food industry and real estate to name only a few. Furthermore, we are coming into hurricane season and are at risk of ‘black rain,’ should a hurricane move through the area of the oil spill. The ramifications of a scenario like this are beyond comprehension.
As long as CEO Tony Hayward and BP’s current management team remain in charge of the oil spill the American continent and the world are at risk. They are proven liars whose only bottom line involves a dollar, and avoidance of responsibility. US lawmakers and Congress has failed to act as well, allowing offshore drilling without proper safety devices in place, to shut off an oil pipeline under catastrophic circumstances such as we are facing. It didn’t have to unfold this way.
Neptune is conjunct the moon of America’s chart. This means that American’s are ‘asleep at the wheel,’ and are, and have been lied to. In time, people will become aware the problems that exist will not fix themselves.
NY Author/Astrologer Mitch Lewis writes,” For those of you who have believed that the apocalypse is just around the corner, I can tell you with certainty, you can stop worrying. It’s here. The situation in the Gulf of Mexico is heartbreaking. You cannot over-exaggerate its potential severity or the comment it makes about people. No thinking, feeling human being can possibly avoid the “inconvenient truth” about our untenable lifestyle as a species. We have cut a wound deep into our living Gaia and it is edging ever closer to poisoning our drinking water. We are one world, connected in an unbroken chain. We should be in mourning over the death of a great body of water, marching in the streets demanding massive changes in our energy policies, voluntarily shutting off electronic devices and microwaves.”
America is a country built on revolutions, and what happens when the population of a country built on a revolution becomes totally disenchanted—Another revolution.
Important aspects leading up to, and following the June 26 are as follows:
June 21-22 The Sun enters Cancer squaring Uranus at 0 degrees of Aries. This transit precedes the eclipse and holds the potential for unexpected events of a shocking, explosive nature. Uranus Is the planet of revolution, change, and rules weather, airplanes, electricity and revolutions. It is an unpredictable energy that can go in many different directions. Expect the unexpected.
June 23-Sun squares Jupiter/Uranus- Information gets blown out of proportion. It is not considered a financially favorable transit. News about government and governments, as well as education, foreign people will dominate the news.
June 24-Mercury squares Saturn- This is a negative, heavy and depressing transit and it is easy to see only the negative. It is likely we will hear negative news, and the potential exists for accidents. It is detail oriented, but prone to arguments, bickering and accidents.
June 25-Mercury enters Cancer squares Uranus/Jupiter-This is a transit of unexpected news and instability. It can affect electronic communications and relates to accidents that can be weather-water related Also, the Sun opposes Pluto on June 25. This is a transit of extreme confrontations, power struggles, and potential violence and upheaval.
June 26-7:30 AM, Lunar eclipse occurs at 4 degrees of Capricorn
June 27- Mercury opposes Pluto-This is a transit that will represent collective obsession with a desire to get to the bottom of the matter. Pluto rules the media, oil, and the powers that be who are ‘in control.’ Harsh words will be exchanged and the potential exists for accidents, hidden agendas, and violence.
