Full Moon in Scorpio!!

This month’s full moon occurs at 8 degrees of Scorpio on Wednesday, April 28, at 8:18 EST. Scorpio is the natural ruler of the eighth house of death, rebirth, taxes, other peoples’ money, and sex, and it will be these areas that become a focus at this time. It is a deep and intense energy.

Scorpio Sizzle-Full MoonScopes!

The influence of the full moon actually begins roughly 5 days before the full moon, and 5 days after, so we are starting to feel/experience the energy of this full moon at this time. Full moons usually relate to endings and culminations of events.

The Sun lines up (conjuncts) with retrograde Mercury at 8 degrees of Taurus, squaring the full moon, which will create emotional situations, issues with women and the home, (homeland), as well as issues concerning money and finance, and sex that will come out into the open. Superficial answers will not suffice at this time, and this Full moon is occurring at the peak of the Saturn-Uranus opposition, meaning that it is time for change in areas of your life that have not been working out. Some of the change may be unexpected.

Venus is at 3 degrees of Gemini, squaring the Saturn-Uranus opposition within a 5 degree orb, bringing up changes in money matters and relationships that are no longer working out. If you’re relationship has been limping along it may end at this time. It is time to get to the core issues that you have been dealing with, and deal with the facts.

The time is now to take stock of your financial situation. In terms of the world stage we may see situations involving accidents, and situations connected to issues with the earth. The major oil spill that occurred about 10 days ago is a situation that comes to mind, and I do not believe we know the extent of the damage. It is a volatile time, and issues will become intense regarding the financial markets, money and financial reform. Hidden issues will come to the surface, and there will be issues on the news of an emotional nature and relating to women. Financial reform will be the focus, and if for any reason it fails at this time, it will be re-visited before 2012.

Aires-Eighth/Second houses-Sex, death and rebirth, taxes, insurance other peoples’ money and earned income as well as self-image.
Taurus-Seventh/ First Houses-Partnerships and relationships of all kinds. Someone may make a move toward you. Relationships may reach a turning point or end if they have not been meeting your needs.
Gemini-Sixth/Twelfth Houses-Work, Health and Fitness, issues that are hidden and the subconscious mind. Visits to Dr.’s and hospitals, or news about such.
Cancer-Fifth/Eleventh Houses-Friends, love affairs, group associations. If nothing else is blocking it, it is time to go out and play! Cancer-this full moon is for you!
Leo-Fourth/Tenth Houses-Matters of priority, the home, business and work. Sometimes the fourth house is referred to as, ‘the end of the matter.’
Virgo-Third/Ninth Houses-Legal and medical matters, education, travel, publishing, issues with neighbors and communication with others.
Libra-Second/Eighth Houses-Money, earned income, self-image, taxes, debt other peoples’ money and corporate finance, death, rebirth and sex. issues with relationships and partnerships.

Mercury Retrograde - The Winged God Stands Still

Mercury, the planet of communication is stationary retrograde at this time, at 12 degrees of Taurus, which means events and situations that will be affected by the retrograde will become pronounced now, as well as when it turns stationary direct. It officially retrogrades on Sunday, April 18. Mercury will remain retrograde until May 11, when it goes stationary direct at 2 degrees of Taurus. When Mercury is stationary retrograde in Taurus the mental process is slow and prodding.

According to Author/Astrologer Carol Rushman, when Mercury stations in Taurus” decision making can be hesitant and painful. However, once a stand is taken or a decision made Mercury stationing in Taurus can be extremely rigid, fixed and resistant to change.”
It is best not to purchase high ticket items on retrograde Mercury, get married, make important decisions or start new projects.

Events and situations will be exposed that you are unaware of. Look for delays and difficulties with equipment and communication and meetings. Your mind may not be as clear as normal and forgetfulness can be a problem.
New relationships that begin at this time may or may not continue after Mercury goes direct in May, and will have to withstand the test of time to know if it is a viable situation for you.

Relationships begun under a retrograde often fade out when the planet goes direct. Alternatively, you may hear from someone from your past, and it is often a time of reconnecting with those we have known before. Relationships that have been limping along may break off all together at this time.
Taurus is an Earth sign and the natural ruler of the second house of money.

Collectively, in the world, It is in these areas we may see frustrations and delays. With the Saturn-Uranus opposition in effect at this time, we will likely see further earth changes, and situations that involve the earth and natural disasters at this time, as well as situations that concern money, banks, assets and possessions.

Mercury retrogrades approximately three times a year, and it marks a time to re-access, re-evaluate, clean up projects and situations from the past. It is not a time to initiate new starts, but to think situations through clearly, and with the retrograde in Taurus, that will be possible, resulting in a clear picture of your direction or project when the Winged God moves forward in May.

Saturn and Uranus - at it again! Get Ready for Action!

April is an action packed month as Saturn and Uranus once again oppose each other at an exact 180 degree angle for the fourth time, since Saturn entered Virgo. Saturn re-enters Virgo one last time April 8-July 21, 2010 before moving back into the sign of partnerships and relationships for the next two years. While Saturn is in Libra we will see many changes in our governments, laws, marriage, relationships and partnerships of all kinds, but first we will be contending with the powerful energy of the Saturn-Uranus opposition in Virgo.

Saturn moves back into Virgo on April 8 creating an opposition to Uranus within 2 degrees. The opposition becomes exact April 23-May 1, and is within 2 degrees of being exact until May 27. At that time Uranus moves into Aries, but that will be the subject of another newsletter. The opposition does not have to be exact to have a profound effect, and it can be ‘set off,’ with a much smaller planetary influence, meaning the energy of the opposition will bring change. Saturn represents that which is old, established and our sense of security and that which we are accustomed to. Uranus represents the future, the new, revolutionary sentiments and the two planets in an opposition form a clash that calls for change on very profound levels.
The energy compels us toward change as a result of stress, worry, and a desire to change existing conditions, but do not expect it to do so in a calm, or easy manner. The energy is harsh, and it can be volatile. There will be a focus in the world on jobs, job creation, health and healthcare, and the banking and financial industries.
If we go back in history, both planets opposed each other in 1918-1920, and 1964-1966, and both times it had a strong effect on banking, work and major institutions. The opposition relates to changes in relationships between people themselves, and entities such as banks and corporations, battles, broken ties and loyalties, and ultimately breaking free of restrictive situations.
-The first Saturn-Uranus opposition was exact November 4, 2008
-The second was February 5, 2009
-The third was September 15, 2009
-The fourth will be exact April 26, 2010.
-The fifth opposition between Saturn-Uranus in Aires-Libra will be July 26, 2010.
If the opposition is making contact with a personal planet in your chart it will bring profound change into your life. Those most affected by the opposition on a personal level will have planets that are aspect by Virgo/Pisces within the 24-29 degree range. If you have personal planets within that range in the sign Virgo, Pisces, Sagittarius or Gemini you will experience change of a somewhat disruptive level and will feel the intensity of the opposition more than others’.
Venus entered Taurus today, April 1. Venus’ transit through this sign will take love to a more sensual, practical level, quite a change from Venus in Aires over the past 30 days. Those who will benefit the most will be Born under the sign of Taurus, Virgo, (Venus will be in the fifth house of love affairs), Scorpio, and Capricorn.
Mercury transits through Taurus from April 2-June 8, turning thought toward more practical, perhaps profitable ideas. This places Mercury in Taurus for nearly ten weeks due to the fact it retrogrades at twelve degrees of Taurus on April 18-May 11.
Best to try and finish up projects well before the 18th,otherwise projects may be delayed until well after Mercury goes direct. It is wise not to make major purchases during this time, start news jobs or sign legal or binding documents as after Mercury turns direct circumstances will likely change. Retrograde Mercury is a time to focus on rethinking, re-doing, researching and planning. It is a time to turn your thoughts inward and review currents situations. The time for starting new projects, relationships and situations will come after the planet of communication becomes direct. It can be a time of spiritual and personal clearing out, and rethinking. Retrograde Mercury has a bad rap, and all is not negative. Otherwise, expect delays, miscommunications, and equipment malfunctioning and breaking down, the usual effects of retrograde Mercury. The Western world does not place a great deal of credence on the concept of spiritual clearing and re-evaluation, but this is exactly what retrograde Mercury is perfect for.
On a personal and worldwide level retrograde Mercury in Taurus will encourage introspected thought relating to money and finances as well as our sense of security. Banking, insurance, inheritance, sex and taxes will become a subject of a great deal of mental thought mental energy and reevaluation.
The new moon occurs on April 14 at 24 degrees in Aires. Aires relates to new starts and new beginnings, but anything begun at this time will most surely be doomed from the start, or alternatively it will not go as planned and many changes will have to occur before the object of your attainment becomes reality, if at all. Aires is the natural ruler of the first house of self, self focus, and this can work out beautifully if the focus on self is retrospective, and turned toward perfecting that which already exists or planning for the future. It is just not yet the time to act. It also marks the start of spring, the new moon in the first sign of the zodiac.
The full moon occurs on April 28, at 8 degrees of Scorpio. It opposes Mercury, creating verbal arguments especially about or with women, the home, homeland and emotional issues. It will be an emotionally charged full moon, and the news will be dominated with issues connected to women, arguments, and potential issues with transportation, vehicles and younger people. It has the potential to be explosive, and it is best to use the utmost caution while traveling or driving other concerns will include secrets, sex, death, change and transformation, insurance companies and banking, and taxes and the tax system. On April 28, the Sun will also conjunct Mercury in Taurus, bringing up conversations and issues relating to the earth, financial matters, banking and security.
Other dates of interest include-
April 3-Venus squares Mars creating an atmosphere that may be sexually and emotionally changed. It is a transit of lust and attraction and does not guarantee a permanent future with new relationships that begins. It is a transit of romantic trysts and disagreements between the sexes. Enjoy the energy and don’t take it too seriously. Otherwise, there may well be financial fluctuations in the world markets, issues relating to money and sex.
April 4-Mercury squares Mars creating an atmosphere of debate, arguments, mental irritations, and potential accidents. At worst it is explosive. Venus trine Pluto can deepen the conversation and love may prevail between couples but not without tension.
April 6-Pluto retrogrades for 5 months creating energy for analyzing business situations as well as emotional ones, and energy becomes more manipulative and secretive. There will be manifestations of power struggles and conflicts involving business, money, and the earth itself, including the US President’s arguments for moving ahead with new drilling for oil within America's borders.
April 19-The Sun enters Taurus putting a focus on money, image, and the earth and practical aspect of life.
April 23-Venus squares Neptune, a transit relating to scandals, secrets and miscommunications between the sexes. It is a transit of fantasy and fantasies may begin or come undone. It will generate great creative energy for the arts, and many a romantic moment, as long as you maintain a stance of clarity if it not someone you know very well.
April 24-Venus enters Gemini creating flirtatious and talkative Venetian energy for Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius and Aires. Gemini’s should look and feel their best for the next 30 days.
April 24-25-Venus trine Saturn reunites you with people from the past and creates a positive energy for business and the practical matters of relationships. The Sun trine Pluto favors finding out more and creating a deeper relationship
April 25-Mercury squares Mars for the second time. It may be a continuation of the issue that occurred April 4, or it could relate to arguments, debate in general, and can be considered explosive and accidental. Be especially careful traveling.

New Moon in Pisces!

This month’s new moon is at 25 degrees in Pisces today, Monday, March 15. New moons represent times of new beginnings, and Pisces is the natural ruler of the twelfth house of things secret and hidden, the unconscious mind, hospitals and institutions and time spent alone.
Pisces rules the spiritual world, and represents the realm of sages, and the ages, mystics, and creativity. It is a time to look into your heart for the answers you seek, and remember that true love is unconditional.
This new moon falls within a degree of Uranus, the planet of sudden, explosive, and unexpected events that come from out of the blue. Uranus rules technology, airplanes, adverse weather conditions involving water and fog, earthquakes and electricity. Watch for complications with technology and save all information on your computer.
Mercury, the planet ruling speech, communication and travel is conjunct Uranus today and tomorrow, so be careful driving, and, new ideas should withstand the test of time. Hasty speech is a common them with this transit, and ideas should be thought out before acted upon. There will likely be more accidents than usual.
The Sun is conjunct electric Uranus on Wednesday, continuing the theme of unexpected events, and we will see this energy play out upon the world stage one way or another. Uranus also represents the ‘cutting edge,’ and on the positive side pay attention to your creative urges as they could lead to novel and unique ideas. New ideas are likely to be unusual and non-traditional, but they may be fleeting. Above all, consider any new idea, communication or action carefully before implementing it.
If you find yourself getting more agitated than usual, take a deep breath, and this energy will pass quickly. With Uranus involved, events and situations can end as quickly as they began.

Jupiter-A Favorable Time-Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, Taurus, and Capricorn

Jupiter in favorable aspect to the Sun (Trine, conjunction, sextile ) is among the most favorable periods of life. Generally, health is good, spirits are above par, life is prosperous, and it is a time of new opportunities on the horizon. If there have been health issues, Jupiter represents a time of healing and if for any reason disappointment or misfortune has occurred, Jupiter energy is favorable in every way in terms of bringing life back into balance, in a more harmonious manner. If obstacles have been placed in your path, Jupiter will ease the way around the obstacles through new opportunities or your path will be made easier as a result of his rays. No planet or transit is ever nullified in it's totality, but If you chart shows other transiting planets affecting you in an adverse way, Jupiter will serve as a form of personal protection, that is, the adverse planets will usually not live up to their full potential or a solution to the problem will be shown, or a better path taken. Jupiter is in favorable aspect to the Sun about 25 per cent of the time.

This year (2010) Jupiter is in Pisces most of the year favorably affecting water and Earth signs. If you are a Pisces, Jupiter in your own sign should bring a better than average year in many ways. It is a once every 12 year occurrence, and you have every chance of success whatever your undertaking. If you are a Cancer, Jupiter is in great aspect to your Sun and favorable for publishing, travel, education, dealing with foreign people, and success in whatever endeavor you pursue, including new relationships. Scorpios have Jupiter in their 5th house of children, friends and love affairs and it is here you will prosper this year. Taurus Sun Signs have Jupiter in their 11th house of friends, hopes and wishes and have every chance of excelling with groups or corporate entities, and in the area of whatever their hopes and wishes may lie. Capricorns, especially those in the early degrees of their sign (1-5 degrees) can use all the help they get from Jupiter in the area of 3rd house matters-a more upbeat mental state, short trips, conversation communicating, writing and in every way your daily interaction with the world should improve.

June 6-September 9 Jupiter enters Aires for 3 months brightening life for Fire/Air signs born in the early degrees of your sign. (1-5 degrees) If you are an early Aries, Sagittarius, Leo, Gemini or Aquarius you will benefit throughout the summer with Jupiter in Aires aspecting your Sun. It will return again for 6 more months late January 2011.

Jupiter re-enters Pisces September 8, 2010-January 22. It goes direct after a 4 month retrograde period October 18 at 23 degrees of Pisces and if this is hitting your Sun or a personal planet in your chart you should feel the positive affects in a remarkable way.

Jupiter/Sun is a favorable influence financially and in general helps money matters go smoothly with fewer obstacles or delays. It is the most favorable of influences for applying for a new job or dealing with any money issues at all, or for that matter legal matters and situations. If you are under the influence of other heavy outer planets affecting your money situation their negative effects will not be as marked, and it may show a new path to financial recovery. If you have to go to court it would almost always indicate success, unless there was a very heavy contradictory planetary influence.

It is favorable for all types of honors and recognition, and achievement. It is a positive time to ask for favors, and it indicates favorable interaction with governments and government agencies. It indicates the clearing of the way for accomplishment of your ends. Whatever you undertake has a greater chance of success and unless other aspects show it, whatever you begin at this time has a far greater chance of success than at other times.

During the times Jupiter aspects the Sun individuals have greater potential for living up to your ambitions and fulfilling your dreams and ambitions. "Luck" has a greater chance of occurring at this time.
Jupiter-Sun is favorable for dealing with men. It is fortunate for the men in your life, Father, husband, boyfriend, and indicates prosperity on the male side of the family. It also indicates dealings with foreign people and creates foreign connections and travel to other places and countries.

As Jupiter is representative of men, women at this time, are more likely to meet a man who plays a significant role in her social and romantic life, and it indicates men, in a general sense in all charts. This is the time to start new relationships, and enter into new arrangements whether business or personal. It brings men into the life who who play a beneficial or important part of your destiny and at times indicates marriage. If other transits allow, it is a very favorable time to marry. It represents younger men, married men, foreign men, attorneys, Dr's and men who are in some away connected with law or medicine, education, or are successful in their own fields. The relationships you begin at this time, will likely pay a significant role, especially for the water signs (we've waited for this now since 2006, you know).

Jupiter expands whatever it touches and this can include your waistline. Those with Jupiter aspecting their Sun are more prone to weight gain than at other times. "Times are good, let's eat" could be called a common motto with a Jupiter/Sun aspect. On the other hand, Jupiter brings a new courage and desire for newness and positivity to the life which could include looking and feeling better, thus diet and exercise. It takes some willpower to utilize these energies, but it does happen.

Words representative of Jupiter include courage, newness, banking, bonds, ,abundance, ambassadors, academic, aristocratic, legal, medical, careless, costly, comfortable, complacency, laziness, excessive, extravagant, formal, finances, good-will, important, income, jovial, luxury, lucky, opulence, reckless, rich, peace, peaceful death, inheritance.

At times, Jupiter in good aspect to the Sun creates a type of energy where no great effort is exerted or attention is not paid to your life in some area resulting in carelessness and careless decisions. It can create a false sense that security and good times will go on forever, when this is not the case. It is perfect for vacations and trips and the only drawback is things go so smoothly, the time slips away without the individually making significant effort to achieve their goals. In which case, life should be free of major worries for a while and you can get down to the business called living life. With Jupiter, the opportunities are there-the time is yours-the rest is up to you.

Full Moon in Virgo

This month's full moon occurs on Sunday, February 28, at 9 degrees of Virgo. Virgo is the natural ruler of the sixth house of work and health and in a general sense we will all be dealing with these issues. It is about issues relating to work of all types, diet, health and healthcare and fitness, and the earth itself. These will be the basic themes of this moon within our personal lives and the world at large.

In the US, the Senate's newest member broke ranks with fellow Republicans to support a Democratic jobs bill to end debate and vote on passage of the bill, and there will be much debate about healthcare reform in America this week. There will be news relating to health, diet, and matters pertaining to the earth.

But, don't believe all you hear, as Mercury conjuncts Neptune on Saturday, February 27 at 26 degrees of Aquarius and is within 2 degrees on Sunday. Mercury rules communication and speech and Neptune is the planet of illusion, delusion and confusion, as well as lies and deception. Lies, secrets and untruths may be revealed. Test any new idea for validity before incorporating it into your life at this time.

Mercury-Neptune is good for imaginative ideas and creativity, psychic/metaphysical activity and insight into future events. It is poor for formulating new agreements/contracts, and it relates to deception in communication and impractical ideas.Use good judgment in issues relating to transportation, as there may be more accidents than usual, and some may be affected by adverse weather conditions.

Are American Women Being Screwed? Women, Healthcare and America's Chart

Saturn (the planet of restriction) and Pluto, known as the God of the Underworld, and the harbinger of change and transformation, are square, and opposing the Venus (square-90 degrees/represents obstacles, an opposition/180 degrees represents change and opposition from other parties) in America's chart at 3 degrees of Cancer. Venus, rules beauty and the female sex, along with money and values.

Saturn entered Libra, the natural ruler of the seventh house of the zodiac, associated with marriage and partnerships on October 30, and with the exception of a brief, 4 month return to Virgo in April, 2010, it will remain there until October of 2012. Libra is ruled by Venus, and Saturn's transit through Libra will bring restrictions to all things of a Venusian nature. This includes the female sex, marriage, relationships, money, art, and beauty, which would include cosmetic surgery.

Are American Women Being Screwed?
As the US Congress continues debate over changes in health care, a study was released within the past month recommending fewer mammograms and pap smears as well as beginning these types of cancer screenings at a later age. Not everyone agrees with these findings, including many in the medical community. The recommendations represent a major shift in screening for breast cancer, and The American Cancer Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and the American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Commission have all published statements on their web sites disagreeing with the new guidelines, and recommending that physicians and insurance companies continue to provide biennial mammograms for women between 40 and 49 and annual mammograms thereafter.

Furthermore, a 10 % tax is being discussed that would be placed on all plastic surgery deemed not necessary for medical reasons.

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, 86 per cent of all plastic surgery is preformed on women, of which 60 % earn a household income of between $30-90,000. Most women and working women agree that there is societal pressure to maintain a youthful and attractive appearance, and few would disagree that age discrimination in the job place exists, particularly toward women.

The question that should be asked is, 'Are women actually the target of cuts and taxes in proposed Health Care Reform?'

Astrologically, the answer is Yes, unless radical changes occur, and women step up to the plate and prevent the powers that be from targeting these and other medical procedures.

This observation is based on the fact that Saturn is currently squaring Venus (at 3 degrees of Cancer) in America's chart, and will continue to do so through early winter of 2010. Pluto, the planet of transformation and change is opposing the Venus in America's chart throughout much of 2010, and will become exact on December 23, 2009-January 20, 2010, and again later in the year. These two planets represent a restrictive, force/clash that will effect women in America in a potentially adverse way.

The same transiting planets also tell us what the state of the economy will be in 2010 and that will be the subject of future newsletters.

In addition to the Saturn/Pluto/Venus energy that is occurring, Jupiter and Neptune will hook up in the form of a conjunction becoming exact on December 21. This represents infectious diseases, but it also represents illusion, confusion and lies and deception around the medical and drug industries. The combination of Jupiter and Neptune in Aquarius may represent something that appears to be of interest in a way that would relate to a type of 'world-view' but the combination does not necessarily lend itself to the truth. What appears to be positive, will likely indeed turn out to be untrue.
Next year, Neptune, the planet of illusion, delusion and confusion, will conjunct America's Moon (representing women) and I call this transit, 'asleep at the wheel.'
If there was ever a time for women to take a proactive approach to their healthcare, the time is now.

The Planet of Action - MARS - Steps Backward - and How that Affects YOU!

Mars (the God of War) turns retrograde on December 20. Mars retrogrades about every 12-16 months. When Mars retrogrades people often complain of low energy, and subtle forms of manipulation can occur within personal relationships. Projects and situations can slow down, or be put on the back burner. When Mars slows down and become stationary retrograde, or when it begins to move forward after a retrograde, combative or combustive energy can occur. When Mars retrogrades it is a time to step back, and slow down the energy.

The planet Mars represents our actions, strength, force, courage, and desires. It represents our sexual nature, and men. Mars is ruled by the signs Aries and Scorpio, and it's manifestation can be constructive or destructive depending upon the nature of the aspect it is making in the natal chart.
Mars takes about two years to travel through the 12 signs of the zodiac, and stays in each individual sign for about 40 days.

On October 17, 2009, Mars entered the sign Leo, where it will stay for the next six months. Leo is the natural ruler of the fifth house of children, friends, love affairs and entertainment, so Mars in Leo will relate to these matters in general, and there will be a focus relating to the issues of children on a collective basis.
Mars will remain retrograde until March 11, 2010. At that time it will resume it's forward action completing it's cycle in Leo June 6, 2010.

Mars will create friction while stationary retrograde at 19 degrees of Leo if it is creating a harsh angle to a personal planet in your chart between 16 and 21 degrees (planets in Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, or Taurus) and you may experience combustive or combative energy on a personal level. Mars creating a hard angle in your chart can also be responsible for accidents, sickness, colds, chills and fevers.

Mars retrogrades back to 0 degrees on February 28, 2010 until March 21, 2010, and again, if it is creating a conjunction or harsh angle to a personal planet you will experience a lengthy period of stress or combative/combustive energy. Mars goes stationary direct on March 10, 2010 at 0 degrees it will only advance to 2 degrees by the end of the month. Again, if this is hitting a personal planet in your chart (in the signs Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, or Scorpio) between 0-4 degrees you will experience tension/stress or potential sickness and it is accident prone. By May 16, 2010 Mars will reach the 19 degree mark, where it went retrograde in December, 2009.

If Mars turns direct on a personal planet in your chart within 1-4 degrees (In Libra, Aires, Gemini, or Sagittarius) this may create an interesting and fortunate situation that will be of significance.

Mars in Leo will affect the Sun Signs by the house placement it is in. Those most affected will be Leo's, Taurean's, Scorpio's and Aquarian's.

Aires-5th/11th house axis- children, love affairs, friends and entertainment,.corporations, groups, hopes and wishes

Taurus-4th/10th house axis -the home, beginnings and endings, family, career and priorities

Libra-11th/5th house axis-Groups, friends, hopes and wishes, organizations, children, friends, love affairs, entertainment

Born to Cheat? Their Birth Chart will Show it!

With astrology we can analyze the birth chart and determine certain personality traits and characteristics of any individual, as well as the life path they will take. Certain transits in the birth chart, and at times, transiting planets, will determine the answer to the question, "Will He/She Cheat."

While transits may determine the probability of a cheater, it is important to remember that while a person may have the transits to be a cheater, all individuals have control over their own brain and actions. Sometimes, these tendencies are curbed by conditioning, religious beliefs and maturity. Having the transits of a cheater doesn't mean you have to fulfill that role. But, in all probability, in this day and age, chances are strong that if an individual was born with 'cheating' transits they will cheat.

Sometimes, events (transits) occur that cause a cheater to change their ways, and sometimes these events never occur and the person never changes. That is usually the case. Sometimes, an individual who is not 'born to cheat,' gets caught up in situations and makes a decision to stray from an established relationship. This is astrologically speaking, a horse of another color than a 'born cheater.'

To know if your significant other/interest is a 'born cheater,' the transits in the birth chart must be carefully analyzed. There is no single transit for a cheater, there are probably millions. There are no simple generalizations. Often, cheaters are born with planets that represent divorce. This is usually represented by some type of hard aspect between Uranus, and Venus, or Mars and Venus. But, every divorced person is not a cheater. And, at times they are the victims of cheaters.

Cheating birth charts almost always contain a hard Neptune aspect. Neptune is the planet of illusion, delusion and confusion, and well as secrets and lies. A person with prominent Neptune aspects in their chart can soar to the highest of highs, touching the divine or they can sink to the lowest depths of human depravity. Sometimes, in a life time they do both. Neptune represents both the preacher, the spiritual guru, and the drug addict and the prostitute. It's a complex planet. But, it's often there when cheating is involved. Neptune can create a cheater sometimes when it's touching Venus, Mars or Mercury, especially from the seventh house of marriage. But, this is a generalization again, and this transit alone does not guarantee a cheater, and Neptune in the seventh house can also represent a person who is going to be cheated on.

Another possibility of a cheater is someone who has a lot of Gemini or Sagittarius in their chart and likes to keep things interesting. These individuals are often not satisfied with just one partner and like to experiment and have a distaste for that which becomes mundane. But again, having multiple planets in these signs alone does not guarantee multiple partners.

Mars or Pluto in the eighth house is another sign of a person who loves sex. These people are usually more interested in the erotic side of life than most. This depends upon many factors including what aspects Mars or Pluto in the eighth house is making.

Society began to change in the late fifties/early sixties, and a generation was born with Neptune is Scorpio (1957-1970). These individuals in particular, are sometimes unclear about sexual boundaries. Again, this is a generalization, and if you were born during these years it is absolutely no guarantee you will cheat!

But, Scorpio is the natural ruler of the eighth house of shared/joint finances, change and transformation and sex. Sex often has a great fascination for these individuals and some will experience vague and uncertain states connected to emotional and sexual involvement with others. Sometimes it exerts a magnetic influence, although the real thing often does not meet expectations.

So, while there are a million fourteen transits that will help identify a cheater, the entire chart must come under scrutiny before making that assessment. And it all really comes down to what we want as individuals and what price they we willing to pay for it.

The Final New Moon of 2009

The final New Moon of 2009 appears Wednesday, December 16, 7:02 AM EST at 24 degrees of Sagittarius. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of higher mind, philosophy, travel, and gain and expansion.

This new moon is a call to adventure, throwing off the limitations of the mind, seeking new perspectives and possibilities of expansion and truth. All new Moons are beginning times, and this new moon highlights new beginnings for our belief systems relating to the things we value and the truth in our individual lives and our ability to live it. The challenge is to remember that while Jupiter is the planet of expansion, it is easy to over inflate our beliefs and expectations.

At 24 degrees of Sagittarius, the New Moon is within 2 degrees of squaring Uranus, the planet of sudden, unexpected disruptions and changes. Mood swings may dominate the period immediately around this new moon and changes and upheaval involving women/emotions will be a theme. Expect the unexpected, as well as unusual weather conditions, and possibility of news involving transportation related situations, airlines, women, upheaval and change of thought and direction, as well as news involving the government, governments, health care and the medical industry.

The new moon sextiles Jupiter and Neptune creating an expansive mood and feelings of generosity and a period of feeling in unity with the universe, but this may be a false sense of security and untruths and half truths that must be determined to be truths before accepting them as such. It is a thin line to walk, but the energy of Sagittarius is a call for the emergence of hope, and newness in our lives. This post contributed by Leslie Hale

Scorpio in Love!

The first week of November the Sun and Mercury are in the sign that is the ruler of the eighth house of the zodiac. The eighth house relates to sex and intimacy, the mysteries and the unknown, death and rebirth, taxes, other peoples money, insurance and inheritance. Scorpio is a fixed sign and any planetary energy that relates to this sign will be difficult to move or sway. Opinions and ideas will be not easy to adjust, and surface answers will not be good enough.

Venus, the planet of love and money enters this tempestuous sign on Sunday, November 8, giving us 3 planets in Scorpio this month. Venus is Scorpio will add spice to the love life of those who are Cancer's or Cancer ascendants through December 2. Now is the time to circulate, respond to invitations, and if you are in a relationship, look for the situation to heat up. If you are a Cancer this puts three planets in your house of love this month, increasing the chances of meeting someone new if you are single. Venus only stays in your fifth house for a 30 day period each year, so make the most of it!

Other signs that will benefit from Venus in Scorpio are Pisces, Virgo's, Capricorn's and of course Scorpio's and those with a Scorpio ascendant. When Venus is in your own sign it is the month you are most attractive to potential suitors and it gives you an added zest in the way you came across to other's.
Things can really heat up on the 18th and 19th of the month as Venus and Mars square each other. While squares bring change and it is still possible to meet a new love, sparks can fly in existing ones, with issues coming to the forefront. Alternatively, depending on your chart, sparks may fly and sizzle as Scorpio lives up to it's name as one of the most sensual of signs of the zodiac.
