The Next 48-Hours will be a Bumpy Ride

Between today and tomorrow, Thursday March 25, the Sun is squaring Pluto, a difficult energy. It creates power struggles, frustrations, obsessiveness and compulsiveness, and emotions are running high. It is best to let this energy pass, remember what it is, and not react to it. Emotions are running high among those who are not happy with the new healthcare bill and those who believe it was the correct thing to do. The news will continue to be dominated by arguments and disagreements, and the press will play a pivotal role, and there may be news about the press itself.

Other conflicts will abound over the next 48 hours that involve big business, and there is a feeling of forced change in society. It is not favorable for the financial markets/institutions of the US, as Capricorn represents the second house of money in the US chart, and while the Sun is squaring Pluto it is also squaring Jupiter, the planet of finance in America’s chart. Understanding FREE WILL and how it works in our lives

Understanding "free will" is a very hard concept for a lot of people who get psychic readings. A lot of times the reading in the moment is misunderstood as being "set in stone" so to speak. So when the reading does not transpire the way it was told in the beginning, the psychic of course gets the blame for not being able to read the situation or the person correctly.

Free will is a very interesting thing indeed. When a reader or a medium tunes into the question at hand, what they see is in the moment and the journey or path that shall be taken. Thus, the message is delivered. Now, the fun part comes when the person that just got the message or shall I say the client, now has choices to make. Also, they have to really trust and believe in what was told to them. Not only do they have that to consider ... if there is another person involved then that person too has the free will to pick and choose their own life path.

There are connections that are truly meant to be made between people and situations but due to fear, mistrust, not believing in one's self or the other person can change the journey of that connection in the blink of an eye. The poor client is left there scratching their head saying ... "uh what just happened"? That is NOT the way it was told to me!

Unfortunately people tend to look outside of the box and point the finger at someone else before they will point the finger at themselves and the thought process that they had just created. Now, I have had people say ... but I truly believed and trusted and yes, maybe they did! But here again "free will" what did the other person involved do or say to sabotage their own "knowing" about the situation?

Now, here comes the set backs, re-grouping, starting from square one again. The psychic's reading is still correct but the two at hand need to really work and re-focus on what they want to get back to that path of where the universe had wanted them to be in the beginning! "Free will" does come with some interesting lessons ... indeed. Just be aware the next time you do get a reading what more can be involved by the human choice people can make.

God is Not a Vending Machine

Many of us pray for a certain thing to happen. God I want a new car. God, I want a new job. God I want to be in a relationship with Suzy and I will do whatever it takes to have her. Some of us even bargain with God...I really want Billy to get back together with me and I promise I will be good and I will go to church every Sunday, just please let me have him back. When Billy does not come back, Sally assumes God has not answered her prayer.

NEWSFLASH!!! Perhaps the answer is “NO”. Perhaps that relationship, possession or job, is not in the best interest for the progression of your soul during its journey on the earthly plane. Perhaps your focus should be on something else.

I remember speaking with a woman once who told me she was mad at God because her boyfriend did not get a promotion although they had been praying daily that he would. I remember telling her something like this: Wow, where did your sense of entitlement come from? You know it is not ALL ABOUT YOU! God is sort of busy right now, a hurricane just hit New Orleans and thousands of people are dead or homeless...there is war in Iraq, people all over the world are starving, and you are upset because your boyfriend did not get a promotion? Several weeks later she emailed apologizing because the promotion and raise did come, it was just delayed. The point here is two fold. Sometimes the answer is ‘no’ but sometimes we have to wait. Sometimes things have to unfold according to the divine plan – the timing of the Universe.

The universe is not a game of chance. Things happen for a reason, and everything is somehow either a cause or effect of something else. There is such an incredible order to things that if we but can get the slightest glimpse of it, we will be in awe of it. This is what I have referred to previously as synchronicity, when we see the hand of God/dess working personally within each of our individual lives.
When we pray, we have to wait for a response. Sometimes we become so impatient that we repeat our prayers night after night, petitioning the same requests over and over. Guess what? God is not deaf. S/he heard you the first time. Once is enough. After you say your prayer, it is your job to sit back and wait. Yep. Patience. Let me spell that out again P A T I E N C E. This is kind of like hitting the elevator button over and over while you impatiently stand at the elevator doors. Even though the light is lit, you push it over and over, thinking it will make it come faster. What a waste of time, and finger energy – once is enough.

Today's society is so geared toward instant gratification, we want things and we want them now. Well, take a number and get in line because God is sorta busy right now. When we pray God/dess does hear our prayers. But we, as humans, must then step back from the desire and wanting (and asking) and allow things to unfold.


When we are constantly petitioning we can’t hear the answer. The answer often comes in the silence of meditation or mindfulness…in the silence, s/he whispers to us the answers that we seek….and we have but to recognize them. Prayer is when we speak to God ~~~ meditation and connecting to the divine source and waiting for the response, is when s/he answers. When we stop asking and start listening... we will hear that soft, still voice. Listen.

Timing in Psychic Readings

So many times we get calls from clients whose only question is WHEN. When will he call? When will we be married? When will he get a divorce? When will we get back together? When will he tell me he loves me?

Most of the time, unless you are asking WHEN is he going to call, the answer is not something similar to next Tuesday or within the next 3 weeks; the REAL answer to that question is WHEN he (or she) has figured out and learned their life lesson, which is ultimately based on some experience or revelation that individual must have before they are able to continue their journey with you.

That being said we will do what we can to provide timing prediction during your psychic reading, but very often, things must happen according to divine timing, which is pretty much set by God, the Goddess, your angels and spirit guides as well as the angels and spirit guides of those you are asking about. If things seem to be taking a while, it is because one or both of you are in the middle of a karmic life lesson that must be completed before anything can progress in your relationship. Sometimes I have even had a client ask when will their karmic life lesson be completed and while we will try to deliver that information to you, we may not be able to get it because it is between them and their soul.

Timing is a very delicate prediction in the psychic realm. We see and hear numbers, we can use the tarot to determine timing astrologically. For instance, many times I will tell a client that I see there relationship really starting to feel settled when the Sun is in Virgo (or Libra, Pisces – whatever time frame comes up during the reading). We are only able to predict the timing of future events if it comes up clearly during the psychic or tarot reading. When we are given a number, we have to interpret how it fits into to the prediction and reading we are giving.

Sometimes callers are so focused on the timing and time prediction they miss some other key aspects of their reading. During your psychic reading it is important to try and turn your focus to the final outcome as opposed to the timing of specific events. We have seen, time again, callers hold on to any timing prediction so strongly they inadvertently and accidentally create blockages to the prediction actually happening. When you want something so badly, you hold onto to it with such a death grip, you can actually push it further into the future, or in some cases strangle it off completely. We don’t want this to happen, and neither do you.

There have also been occurrences where a timing prediction has been given during the reading but the caller has acted impulsively which in essence, negates the timing prediction. The best way to describe this is by example. One day Betty calls for a reading because her and her boyfriend, Bob, have broken up, and she wants to know when they will be back together and when he will communicate with her. The timing that comes up during the reading is a 3, so the psychic interprets that as either 3 days or 3 weeks or even October 3^rd. Betty was feeling rather insecure and really wanting to put their relationship back together, decided to call Bob 3 days later. He was still not feeling like talking about their breakup or fixing the relationship and told her he would call when he was ready to talk. Due to Betty’s impulsiveness she broke down and called after 3 days because she was holding on so tight to the timing prediction she decided to create change, even if it was negative. Now, the timing prediction has been completely blown out the window and we would have to do another psychic reading to predict the next timing outcome for her.

Timing is not written in stone, actually no prediction is written in stone, because time is fluid…like water. There is no structure to it in the psychic or spirit realm, which is where we get our information during the psychic reading. Timing can and will change based on the decisions you make and the decisions and choices the person you are asking about makes during the course of your daily lives, just as Betty’s decision to call Bob created change in the timing prediction.

Albert Einstein concluded that time is relative and that the past, present, and future exist simultaneously. In other words, time is not linear, but we have created linear time (hours, days, weeks, months) so that it makes sense to our linear ways of thinking. We don’t want to argue with Einstein.

Full Moon in Leo - The Show Must Go On!

This month's full moon occurs on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 1;18 AM, EST at 10 degrees of Leo. Leo is the natural ruler of the fifth house of children, friends and love affairs, so it is within these areas in a general sense, we will experience much of the full moon energy. Leo is the sign of the showman (or woman) and the energy is dramatic and intense. It is time to experience the child within yourself! Just don't resort to childish actions or manipulations, and be aware that you could experience these types of behavior from others' around you during the peak hours of this full moon.

Full moon energy starts to occur days before the full moon becomes exact, and most astrologers use 3-4 days before and after in terms of timing for the events that will play out. On Wednesday, January 27, as we are coming into the full moon, Venus, the planet of love and money will oppose Mars at at 11 degrees of Aquarius.

This transit will involve shifts in the financial markets, and men and women may have opposing viewpoints. As a matter of fact, it may represent a clash between the two sexes. And speaking of sex, sexual energies may be heightened, but the energy is purely sexual in nature, as opposed to warm and loving. The attraction may be there, but it is up to you which way to direct the energy, and misunderstandings can occur on a number of fronts, especially in the realms of love and money.

Thursday, January 28, the Sun opposes Mars, creating an atmosphere prone to agitation, ego's out of control, and the potential for accidents, even violence on the world stage. Mars can make you feel that it is important to express your feelings, especially angry feelings. The best way that I have found to deal with Mars is to let the energy pass; let a few hours or days go by and see how the difference of a day changes things. Usually the urge to express yourself at all costs changes, and the things that seemed important to say, often are not-- given 24 hours. No matter how you cut the pie, this volatile Mars energy is coming in on top of the full moon creating tension and agitation that must be acknowledged one way or another.

As the full moon is at 10 degrees of Leo, it is within 1 degree of being conjunct Mars at 9 degrees of Leo. This is a super-charged full moon with a lot of energy that must be used constructively in some way, as emotions and feelings will be running at an all time high. It has the potential, if the energy is not used constructively, of turning volatile and we will see this energy play out one way or another on the news.

Of course the most important transit that is occurring along with this full moon is the Saturn-Pluto square that is exact through the first 9 days of February,and remains within orb throughout this winter. This transit doesn't need anything more to set it off, but that is precisely what a full moon will do. Fortunately the full moon in Leo isn't squaring or opposing this configuration, but it will add a great deal more energy to it, nevertheless.

Saturn squaring Pluto creates situations involving a great deal of frustration in the business world, as well as relationships of all types. It creates delays and points out what our limitations are. I refer to it as a 'ruthless force, as the energy of Saturn and Pluto create an inability to move forward. it is dangerous and volatile and the world will be a better place when this square passes.

The energy will start to diminish and lighten up some after the first 9 days of February. But, the energy of this transit isn't gone until it's gone. The combination is so volatile individually and in the world, the last time we had a hard transit between Saturn and Pluto was in the days preceding 9-11.So, be careful, don't get too carried away with anything and use the energy to it's fullest potential.

Saturn-Pluto "A Ruthless Force"

I call it the 'ruthless force,' and it is the energy at work in our world. Saturn in Libra is squaring Pluto at 1 degree of Capricorn creating a dramatic effect in terms of power struggles, confrontations, oppressive forces and a buildup of explosive energy.

Saturn-Pluto is linked to nuclear energy, aggression, oil, and shortages. This transit also relates to the law, justice, financial institutions, and business in general.The last event that we can link to Saturn-Pluto energy was the period of 911, as Pluto in Sagittarius opposed Saturn in Gemini within 2 degrees.

The square from Saturn we are experiencing at this time is in the sign of Libra ruling the scales of justice, laws, and partnerships of all kinds. Libra energy is always seeking balance and harmony and in doing so, is sometimes associated with 'wanting, or lack, thereof," as a direct result of the natural conciliatory nature of this sign. Libra's and Libra energy sometimes mean avoiding confrontation at all costs, therefore not defending one's actions, or demanding enough of what is actually called for.

Are American Women Being Screwed? Women, Healthcare and America's Chart

Saturn (the planet of restriction) and Pluto, known as the God of the Underworld, and the harbinger of change and transformation, are square, and opposing the Venus (square-90 degrees/represents obstacles, an opposition/180 degrees represents change and opposition from other parties) in America's chart at 3 degrees of Cancer. Venus, rules beauty and the female sex, along with money and values.

Saturn entered Libra, the natural ruler of the seventh house of the zodiac, associated with marriage and partnerships on October 30, and with the exception of a brief, 4 month return to Virgo in April, 2010, it will remain there until October of 2012. Libra is ruled by Venus, and Saturn's transit through Libra will bring restrictions to all things of a Venusian nature. This includes the female sex, marriage, relationships, money, art, and beauty, which would include cosmetic surgery.

Are American Women Being Screwed?

As the US Congress continues debate over changes in health care, a study was released within the past month recommending fewer mammograms and pap smears as well as beginning these types of cancer screenings at a later age. Not everyone agrees with these findings, including many in the medical community. The recommendations represent a major shift in screening for breast cancer, and The American Cancer Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and the American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Commission have all published statements on their web sites disagreeing with the new guidelines, and recommending that physicians and insurance companies continue to provide biennial mammograms for women between 40 and 49 and annual mammograms thereafter.

Furthermore, a 10 % tax is being discussed that would be placed on all plastic surgery deemed not necessary for medical reasons.

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, 86 per cent of all plastic surgery is preformed on women, of which 60 % earn a household income of between $30-90,000. Most women and working women agree that there is societal pressure to maintain a youthful and attractive appearance, and few would disagree that age discrimination in the job place exists, particularly toward women.

The question that should be asked is, 'Are women actually the target of cuts and taxes in proposed Health Care Reform?'

Astrologically, the answer is Yes, unless radical changes occur, and women step up to the plate and prevent the powers that be from targeting these and other medical procedures.

This observation is based on the fact that Saturn is currently squaring Venus (at 3 degrees of Cancer) in America's chart, and will continue to do so through early winter of 2010. Pluto, the planet of transformation and change is opposing the Venus in America's chart throughout much of 2010, and will become exact on December 23, 2009-January 20, 2010, and again later in the year. These two planets represent a restrictive, force/clash that will effect women in America in a potentially adverse way.

The same transiting planets also tell us what the state of the economy will be in 2010 and that will be the subject of future newsletters.

In addition to the Saturn/Pluto/Venus energy that is occurring, Jupiter and Neptune will hook up in the form of a conjunction becoming exact on December 21. This represents infectious diseases, but it also represents illusion, confusion and lies and deception around the medical and drug industries. The combination of Jupiter and Neptune in Aquarius may represent something that appears to be of interest in a way that would relate to a type of 'world-view' but the combination does not necessarily lend itself to the truth. What appears to be positive, will likely indeed turn out to be untrue.

Next year, Neptune, the planet of illusion, delusion and confusion, will conjunct America's Moon (representing women) and I call this transit, 'asleep at the wheel.'

What to Expect First Quarter 2010

Mitchell Scott Lewis is a New York financial astrologer and one of my favorite authors, and has posted his observations regarding First quarter of 2010.

"Because of the Saturn – Pluto square that will be in orb through February, this winter will prove to be a time of slow and deliberate growth. Frustrating events and delays will abound, and basically we will be in a traffic jam until the spring. You have two choices when stuck on the L.I.E.: get upset and blow your horn, or listen to Mozart and enjoy the scenery.

Saturn retrogrades January 13th and heads back to the completion of the square to Pluto. Until Saturn goes direct at the end of May we can expect delays in many business projects. Saturn rules the banking industry, and Virgo is the sign of the auditor. When Saturn entered Virgo in September 2007 the banks were audited, and we discovered that they were standing on quicksand. As Saturn reenters Virgo there will be another auditing of the industry. Many more banks will fail this coming year. Estimates from Wall Street put the number somewhere in the 300 – 500 range. And with Saturn back in Virgo from April 8th – July 22nd 2010 we are going to see just how secure the business really is.

As with all aspects the Saturn – Pluto square works both ways. Saturn, planet of restrictions and constraint, will limit the growth of Pluto, ruler of trading markets. I expect the stocks to go sideways or moderately down for a while. I doubt we will see many big rallies or much more growth this winter. Born to Cheat? Their Birth Chart will Show it!

With astrology we can analyze the birth chart and determine certain personality traits and characteristics of any individual, as well as the life path they will take. Certain transits in the birth chart, and at times, transiting planets, will determine the answer to the question, "Will He/She Cheat."

While transits may determine the probability of a cheater, it is important to remember that while a person may have the transits to be a cheater, all individuals have control over their own brain and actions. Sometimes, these tendencies are curbed by conditioning, religious beliefs and maturity. Having the transits of a cheater doesn't mean you have to fulfill that role. But, in all probability, in this day and age, chances are strong that if an individual was born with 'cheating' transits they will cheat.

Sometimes, events (transits) occur that cause a cheater to change their ways, and sometimes these events never occur and the person never changes. That is usually the case. Sometimes, an individual who is not 'born to cheat,' gets caught up in situations and makes a decision to stray from an established relationship. This is astrologically speaking, a horse of another color than a 'born cheater.'

To know if your significant other/interest is a 'born cheater,' the transits in the birth chart must be carefully analyzed. There is no single transit for a cheater, there are probably millions. There are no simple generalizations. Often, cheaters are born with planets that represent divorce. This is usually represented by some type of hard aspect between Uranus, and Venus, or Mars and Venus. But, every divorced person is not a cheater. And, at times they are the victims of cheaters.

Cheating birth charts almost always contain a hard Neptune aspect. Neptune is the planet of illusion, delusion and confusion, and well as secrets and lies. A person with prominent Neptune aspects in their chart can soar to the highest of highs, touching the divine or they can sink to the lowest depths of human depravity. Sometimes, in a life time they do both. Neptune represents both the preacher, the spiritual guru, and the drug addict and the prostitute. It's a complex planet. But, it's often there when cheating is involved. Neptune can create a cheater sometimes when it's touching Venus, Mars or Mercury, especially from the seventh house of marriage. But, this is a generalization again, and this transit alone does not guarantee a cheater, and Neptune in the seventh house can also represent a person who is going to be cheated on.

Another possibility of a cheater is someone who has a lot of Gemini or Sagittarius in their chart and likes to keep things interesting. These individuals are often not satisfied with just one partner and like to experiment and have a distaste for that which becomes mundane. But again, having multiple planets in these signs alone does not guarantee multiple partners.

Mars or Pluto in the eighth house is another sign of a person who loves sex. These people are usually more interested in the erotic side of life than most. This depends upon many factors including what aspects Mars or Pluto in the eighth house is making.

Society began to change in the late fifties/early sixties, and a generation was born with Neptune is Scorpio (1957-1970). These individuals in particular, are sometimes unclear about sexual boundaries. Again, this is a generalization, and if you were born during these years it is absolutely no guarantee you will cheat!

But, Scorpio is the natural ruler of the eighth house of shared/joint finances, change and transformation and sex.
