What to expect for the rest of March :-)

March 21, the Sun conjuncts Uranus at 1 degree of Aries. With Uranus we may expect the unexpected. This could be a volatile transit with explosions and explosive situations around the world. It will be personally significant if you were born on March 21-22, June 22, 23, September 24, 25, or December 23-24. Otherwise, the day will be full of surprising events and turns and will probably not turn out exactly as we expect.

March 28-29 Venus conjuncts Neptune at 28-28 degrees of Aquarius. This transit has a dual potential, but where Neptune is involved confusion usually reigns. On the positive side, it can be a day of creative inspiration and imagination resulting in a moment of soaring to the highest of highs. If this is the case enjoy the moment as it is short lived. On the negative side, Venus with Neptune can result in confusion surrounding your love life, mis-communication, misunderstanding and relationships that do not live up to your expectations. It is not a positive transit for financial matters as it is unclear and subject to false information. Lies and unrealistic thinking will be abundant in the world on this day.

March 28-31 Jupiter opposes Saturn at 14 degrees Libra/Aries This is a transit of restriction, frustration and delay. It can affect money, relationships and projects may be slowed down or ended altogether. There will be government clashes, and clashes between the Democratic and Republican parties. Those most affected by this transit will be born March 4-7, July 6-9, October 7-10 and January 4-8, or those with a personal planet being aspected by this transit.

March 29 the Sun squares Pluto at 7 degrees of Aries/Capricorn. This is a transit of power struggles and forced change. A day of potential danger in the world as Aries is ruled by Mars, the ‘God of War.’ It is likely we will hear of struggles and situations involving war in the hot spots around the globe and we are subject to becoming involved in power struggles with others in our personal lives. This is a transit of changes of situations and circumstances.

March 30 Mercury retrogrades at 24 degrees of Aries. The ‘stationary retrograde’ period is March 29-April 2, but we will feel the energy long before then. It is during these few days Mercury will reveal events that are previously unknown, create snafus in communication, travel and equipment, and cause problems in relationships. Retrograde Mercury is not the time to start new ventures, buy big ticket items or begin new projects. The next three weeks are best spent in reflection and redoing matters that will need your attention. Astrologer/Author Carol Rushman writes, “ When Mercury stations in Aries or the first house verbal expression is assertive and occasionally combatant, because the mental energy is fast and aggressive in Aries. Decisions are made without due diligence and regretted at a later date. While new concepts are quickly grasped, they can also be easily abandoned.” Mercury goes direct at 12 degrees of Aries on April 23.

Uranus in Aries/ Supermoon in Virgo/Neptune in Aquarius-Pisces -Dramatic Actions and Events/March 2011

Uranus made a dramatic entrance into the sign Aries March 11, as earthquakes and a tsunami wrecked havoc on Japan and Hawaii, leaving thousands homeless and dead. Uranus entered Aries officially March 11 at 7:52PM EST. Uranus acts swiftly; squaring Pluto, the planet ruling nuclear weapons and facilities, as well as oil. The planet is at risk of nuclear incidents as well as weapons and several nuclear power plants have been damaged by the earthquake in Japan. This (Pluto-Uranus) energy will continue all year, reaching a peak June-August, as the two planets are within a one degree orb of each other. But, planets do not have to be exact to cause events. Uranus and Pluto will actually continue to square each other until 2016. Thus, we are at risk for many years to come of unexpected events and explosions around the world, wars, nuclear incidents and events, and catastrophic earth related disasters that will include water. The world is about to change is some very big ways, and it will simply take another powerful planetary line up to set it off (Pluto/Uranus square) again.

Uranus is at the 0 degree known as the Aries point. This much awaited event in the astrological world has more than lived up to it’s name thus far. Celeste Teal published the most widly quoted explanation of Uranus in Aries at the Aries point, also known as the ‘world point.’ ’A sudden outpouring of energies, indicative of involvement with the world at large.’

The energy of the upcoming full moon in Virgo has played a role in Japan’s tragedy, as well. This full moon has been described as an ‘extreme supermoon' because on March 19 the moon will swing more closely to the earth than it has in the past 18 years. March’s full moon occurs on Saturday March 19th at 2:10 P.M. EST at 28 degrees Virgo 48 minutes. Full moon energy can be felt before the peak occurs as well as after. The 29th degree is a significant one and every full moon since October has been at that significant degree. The 29th degree is about change. This full moon causes conflicts with several planets, including Uranus, the planet/agent of disruption. As the full moon approaches we will see more events fitting this description.

Neptune, known as the water-bearer is currently in the 29th degree of Aquarius. Author/Astrologer Helen Adams Garrett, wrote about the 29th degree of Neptune in Aquarius, ’World Peace will be sought and those born with this degree will be active in the process, by agreement or by opposition to the cause May be caught in the battle and become a victim.’

The ground is littered with victims in the Middle East. As the victim toll in Japan reaches 10,000 at the time of this publication, all eyes are off Libya where a crazed dictator cleans up the streets and tells the world he never massacred civilians while the UN debates the legalities of intervention. The Arab League ministers voted to ask the UN to impose a no fly zone over Libya, but to the civilians under siege in that civil war torn country this may seem to be too little, too late. Author Celeste Teal states the 29th degree is the weakest point of the sign it is occupying and often complicates decision making matters.

On March 18-19, Mercury opposes Saturn. This is a transit indicative of arguments, power struggles in the world, and accidents. It is oriented toward very serious issues and we will see this play out on a world level with debates, arguments and more negative news. We will hear news from governments around the world.

As the full moon peaks on the 19th it opposes Uranus within one degree. This will create sudden, unexpected situations that may involve weather and water related occurrences. Mercury-Saturn plays into the picture as well, creating dangerous situations around the world that occur at the last minute. March 21-22 the Sun conjuncts Uranus, a transit indicative of sudden, explosive situations, accidents and explosions that could involve fire. At the 0 degree Aries point, events will likely involve the world in a big way, with certain individuals or entities that will make their desires known. No doubt, the tragedy in Japan will play a big part of this full moon, and we will continue to hear disturbing reports. But it is not limited to the news from Japan. This is a complex full moon, and indeed is a ‘supermoon,’ for many reasons. We can expect the unexpected with this one.

March 28-29 the Sun squares Pluto. Pluto is a ruthless planet and describes the ‘status quo, as well as oil. Pluto also rules nuclear weapons and substances. We will hear more at this time about Japan’s nuclear plant crisis, and oil. Prices may go up, and oil will become a major issue throughout 2011. Sun/Pluto is explosive and relates to power struggles of all types, as well as struggles against the current power structure. Pluto rules the media as well, and no doubt reporters will be at the forefront during this time.

Jupiter opposes Saturn the last two weeks of March. This transit is indicative of restriction, delays, obstacles, negative movement in financial markets and gridlock among governments, especially the US. Decisions will be difficult to make and movement may come to a virtual standstill.

As Mercury retrogrades in Aries on March 30, it does so in the sign ruling the individual (as well as collective) ego. At this time, we will have an opportunity to re-evaluate the actions of the recent past. Actions will be slowed, but in positive light decisions can be rethought. On the other hand, hasty decisions can be made without thought of consequences, and thinking may not be clear.

On a Personal Level

March 19 holds a volatile full moon and to some degree we will all feel the influence for a few hours or days, but for some it will be more intense than others, depending what it is aspecting in your chart. Those most affected during the few days before and after the full moon will be born June 19-21, December 19-25, March 16-21, and September 20-25. It will be significant if you were born April 6-8, July 8-10, October 9-11, or January 6-8. You may feel edgy, discouraged and negative or prone to an argument. Let the energy pass, and by mid-week if not sooner, energies-situations will lighten up.

Uranus: Last dance in Pisces-The Planet of Revolution and Change Enters the Sign of the Individual Ego

We are on the precipice of major planetary change as Uranus transits through the final degrees of Pisces. Uranus is the planet of sudden, unexpected change, upheaval and revolution. Uranus is a slow moving planet, taking seven years to transit each sign. It entered Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac on March 11, 2003, and it moves into Aries on March 11, 2011 where it will remain until March 7, 2019 The sign Pisces often creates a ‘fog,’ between reality and the mystical world, which can become blurred to the extent it is hard to distinguish reality from non-reality. Uranus rules the internet, and nowhere has this blurred vision become more apparent than the explosion of Facebook and other social media sites, internet games, and even dating sites whereby individuals and players take on a persona different from his or her real life and often become consumed in a internet life of non-reality that over time becomes blurred with reality, or becomes the reality for the individual involved. This is truly a manifestation of Uranus in Pisces.

The 29th Degree

Some degrees are more significant than others and when Uranus reaches the 29th degree it is considered the Anaretic degree. Pisces is represented by the two fish and is considered the sign of devotion as well as self undoing. At the time of this publication Pisces is at 29 degrees. The 29thdegree of Pisces concerns the mysteries of life as well as miracles that may not be recognized as such. Believes strongly in mind over matter and sees the mysteries of life manifested-Helen Adams Garrett. The 29th degree of Pisces represents endings, in preparation for new beginnings with Uranus entering Aries.

World Events and Changes

When Uranus enters Aries at 0 degrees on March 11, it is at the Aries Point or the ‘world point,’ the 0 degree mark that is the beginning of all things. Uranus moves from mystical Pisces and inner manifestation to outer manifestation in the world. It is considered the point at which world events can occur involving us all in collective change. Uranus in Aries moves quickly, and will advance science, technology and medicine at a rapid pace. By the time Uranus leaves Aries medicine will have changed considerably and we can only imagine the advances in technology.

Many world events occurred late May-mid August 2010 when Uranus was at the Aries point for the first time, and this was only a preview to this planet’s seven year stay when it enters the first house of the zodiac for the next seven years. Spring/Summer 2010 saw a meltdown in the economy of numerous European countries and the BP oil spill was an event that garnered international attention. We saw travel problems with a huge volcanic ash cloud over Europe, China had an oil spill and numerous other events occurred, and heard news of developments in medicine.

We will be at greater risk of explosive situations and catastrophic conditions around the world as the planet of revolution conjuncts the Aries point. Aries is the ruler of the first house of self, and individual egos and ideas will make themselves known in the world. Individuals and entities will become more aggressive, war like and inclined to manifest their desires outwardly. We are already seeing this energy play out in the number of protests and demonstrations in the Middle East and civil war in Libya.

The last time Uranus was in Aries was 1927-1935. Among the greatest inventions of that time was television. The US Stock Market crashed in October 1929. (The stock market could not crash like it did in 1929 because of the institution of trading collars ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trading_collar ) that would shut the market down. In 1929 the stock market lost 23% of its value over 2 days. It could only lose this type of value over days/weeks/months of sustained loss. We also saw the Hitler's party come to power in 1933. The world changed then and during the next seven years and it will change again.

Personal Changes

As Uranus enters the first sign, changes will occur in the world and changes will occur on a very personal level for us individually. When Uranus changes signs this is a very big deal where planets are concerned. As Uranus enters Aries you will feel driven to move forward and accomplish things you may have been dreaming of for years. Aries does not wait around, but rather moves forward at the fastest pace of any sign. As Aries transits through your chart you may experience many changes in your personal life depending upon which personal planets Aries is affecting. Those most affected by Uranus’ entrance into Aries will be individuals born in the early degrees of the Cardinal signs: Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn. You will experience change and possibly disruption, or a change of direction if you were born March 21-28, June 22-29, September 24-30, or December 23-29.If you were born on any of these dates looks for changes of direction on a personal level, and with partners, (Aries/Libra) and in the home and career areas if you are Cancer/Capricorn.

Uranus/Saturn/Pluto- The Status Quo versus the Individual-A Return of the Cardinal Square

During Spring/summer of 2010 we experienced the Cardinal Grand Square that brought turmoil and chaos to the world and brought to light numerous situations in the world that call for change. As Uranus advances in the sign Aries it will create another Cardinal square between Saturn, Uranus and Pluto. This ‘grand square,’ of these three major planets will generate tension that will reach a point where change has no option but to occur, and situations cannot continue as usual.

In 2010 the square became almost exact between these three planets June- August. Planets do not have to be exact to cause events and in 2011 the Cardinal Square will reach a peak in June with Saturn retrograde at 10 degrees of Libra, Pluto at 6 degrees of Capricorn and Uranus at 4 degrees of Aries. These planets are well within orb of each other and will create turmoil, chaos and anger that will lead to change in the world and change and regeneration in our personal lives.

As Saturn (the taskmaster and status quo) goes direct and moves forward in July, Uranus in Aries will continue to square Pluto throughout the year. Thus, the ‘will of the individual,’ will continue to be pitted against the ‘status quo,’ throughout 2011.

It will be a year of violent and unexpected explosions and explosive situations, both at home and abroad. Pluto also rules oil, and with the turmoil in the Middle East it is more than possible we will see problems with the flow of oil through the Middle East, and escalations in price, throughout 2011. We are at risk of food shortages during this time, as well.

This explosive energy is obvious in the Middle East. The charts of many countries including Libya, Israel, Jordan, Iran and Iraq to name just a few are absolutely on the brink of change/civil war and will not go through this period and remain the same. Uranus will actually continue to square Pluto within it’s orb of influence until 2017. Eighty years ago Uranus entered Aries and changed the world. It will do so again.

What are the Changes About?

Saturn in Libra relates to law, governments and relationships of all kinds, both personal and personal, as well as relationships with the government. Marriage will come under scrutiny and we will hear more about same-sex marriage. Uranus in Aries relates to the ego of the individual and the collective will being expressed in the outer world. Pluto in Capricorn relates to the ‘powers that be.' This includes governments, banks, business, and underworld types of groups. It is in these areas we will see changes occur on the world stage. Governments and business will be disrupted and the individual will make his/her voice known. All people have a desire to live in peace and with a certain amount of personal security. When change occurs it will be a result of the needs of the individual not being met by governments and entities. It will be in the abovementioned areas that clashes occur, ultimately resulting in change. The world is going to be an angry place to live for a while.

There are also ego driven and misguided individuals who will make their voices heard. These individuals do not have to be spiritually motivated but egotistical, or driven by reasons of personal ideology. As Neptune enters Pisces, another wild card comes into the mix, relating to religion, and idealism as well as fanaticism. It will be a thin line humanity must walk in 2011.

Neptune Enters the Sign of Spirituality and Confusion

Neptune is the most misunderstood of signs, and the planet ruling religion and spirituality. It enters the twelfth sign of the zodiac on April 5 changing the mix even further. The twelfth house relates to the unseen world, the unconscious mind, the supernatural, and things and realms that are secret and hidden. It is the house of endings and clearing the deck before new beginnings. Neptune will be in Pisces until 2026.

While on one hard, the world in some ways and places may become more aware of the need for spirituality and a connection with the infinite, Pisces also rules fanatics, and extremists. Pisces rules drugs, the ocean, illusion, delusion, confusion, lies and deceit, drug dealers, ministers, the seamy side of life, painting, beauty, and the cinema and drunks. It is the most multidimensional of planets and therein lies the difficulty in understanding it. But where you have Neptune, you generally have confusion. Neptune can soar to the highest of highs and sink to the lowest of lows. And it rules water.

Natural and Man Made Catastrophes

The upcoming grand square, and subsequent Uranus-Pluto square can relate to both natural and man made disasters. Pisces rules water and Pluto rules oil, and Uranus in Aries brings sudden, unexpected situations and events. Pluto in Capricorn also relates to the earth, and we are in a period where the dictates of the planet must be taken into consideration. During the grand square of 2010 we saw volcanic eruptions, an ash cloud, earthquakes, flooding, and the contamination of the Gulf by British Petroleum. More such incidents will occur, and Neptune in Pisces speaks of water: flooding, melting ice caps, contamination, shortages-all of these are possible.

The Big Picture

We can only imagine the technological advances that will occur over the next seven years. How would one describe television to someone who had never heard of the concept at the turn of the 20th century? How many lives will be saved as medical science unlocks the secrets to regenerating the body, perhaps even preventing aging. Stem cell research holds the key to more than we can imagine. We are on the brink of breathtaking cures, answers and solutions.

And yet the world is in turmoil. The age of revolt and revolution is upon us. Not only in the Middle East, but in the US and the Western world. The old guard is on it’s way out everywhere. Situations and answers that served as patchwork that have not met the needs of real human beings will no longer suffice. Governments that only serve only a few will topple, whether they be Western or Eastern. It will not be an easy path, it never is. Nor will it be a crystal clear path. Confusion will abound.

This is the time of the individual. Not to become absorbed in the self to the exclusion of all else, but rather to search our common humanity for what we can attain and what we share in common with others.

It is a time for humanity to bond with the earth and search for issues that will preserve our planet for the future and respect the boundaries of what the Planet Earth will tolerate before it becomes toxic. Our world depends upon it. Welcome to the revolution. It will be televised.

It's All About Love and Money!

Venus entered Libra on Sunday, and conjuncted Saturn, which is opposing Uranus and squaring Pluto, setting off the grand square that is occurring at this time. This is a very difficult planetary configuration, as all the outer planets are close to the cardinal and world axis. This impacts the world; but if you are a cardinal sign - Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn you will definitely feel the effects of this grand cross all the more. All these planets are competing with each other at the moment.. Jupiter - representing expansion, Uranus representing upheaval and unexpected events, Mars representing our ambitions, Saturn forcing us to feel confined and restricted, Venus focusing on money and love, and Pluto which forces us to change This is a call for all of us to make positive changes, as this planetary alignment will wake us up and force us to eliminate and change negative aspects of our lives that we have ignored. We want to change but Saturn is keeping us stuck.

The transit continues today into tomorrow, and will bring up issues from the past in relationships. Saturn is the planet of delays and restrictions, and often creates burdens and sorrows where love is concerned. It is in general, the ultimate wet blanket where love is concerned, and can make you feel reserved toward those around you. Uranus is the planet of sudden, unexpected events that seem to happen without warning. This creates a volatile situation where relationships are concerned, and will bring about potential endings in relationships that are not strong.. August 10-12 Venus is squaring Pluto creating tensions, obsessions and bringing up unresolved issues in relationships.. Pluto rules sex and the darker side of human nature.

On Tuesday, August 10 we have a New moon in Leo, the natural ruler of the fifth house of children and love affairs and it is here we will experience events that occur over the new moon. Leo is dramatic, and has no time for wall flowers. Everything will seem to happen in a ‘bigger’ way. The new moon loosely opposes Neptune, the planet of illusion, confusion and delusion, and misunderstandings, so clear communication is called for. With Venus right in the middle of the T-Square relationship issues will arise. The positive side of the transit is that if you have a relationship where commitment is present, issues can be worked through and resolved.

Money will also be in focus. Venus is a money planet and this week will bring to light financial issues that have been building in the world. We may hear unexpected news. Jupiter, the other money planet is opposing Saturn this week creating a contraction in world financial markets as opposed to expansion

Saturn Enters Libra = Change is Upon us!

The planet of delays, restriction and structure enters the sign ruling relationships and partnerships for a two year stay until October 7, 2012. Saturn is leaving Virgo, the sign ruling work, the earth, health and healthcare for 30 years. Those born under the Sun Sign Virgo can breathe easier as Saturn leaves their first house, easing up the restriction and responsibilities as it transits into Libra. Now Virgo’s will be able to see the results of all their labor over the past two and a half years.

For the next two years Libra’s can expect more responsibility, and to work harder to achieve what they want, but the possibilities for great achievement are there. If you are 40 plus and Saturn is entering Libra for the second time in your life, it will be a period of starting over in some way, utilizing the knowledge and experience you gained during Saturn’s first transit across your Sun.

Saturn first entered Libra October 30, 2009 for a five month stay until April 7, 2010, at which time it retrograded back into Virgo. Now, it will remain in Libra until fall of 2012.

Saturn was last in Libra September of 1980-August of 1983, and 30 years earlier November 1950-August of 1953. In some respects history repeats itself and we can reflect upon the past to understand the present. Of course, nothing will ever be exactly the same, but if you are old enough to remember Saturn’s last transit through Libra you can forecast the areas of your life that Saturn will bring discipline, structure, and responsibility to.
Saturn entering Libra will change our focus individually and on the world stage.

The ‘taskmaster’s’ two year sojourn through the sign of partnerships, relationships, marriage and the law will bring shifts in power among countries, and laws, as well as shifts in power and structure in relationships. Gay marriage was recently made legal in Argentina and it will become a focus again in America, and other nations. Marriage and laws will change; power in the world will shift.
If you are currently in a relationship Saturn in Libra will bring structure to that relationship or it will test it. Libra is the sign ruling marriages, and for some, marriages will occur, and for other’s stressful situations will end during this period. Those who will be tested the most will be born under the Sun Signs of Cancer, Libra, Aries and Capricorn.

As Saturn enters Libra; it opposes Uranus, currently at 0 degrees of Aries, and will be squared by Pluto at 3-2 degrees of Capricorn. This is the fifth and final opposition over 18 months of the planet of delays, structure and obstacles opposing the planet of rebellion and unlimited freedom.
Uranus at 0 degrees of Aries is considered the world point, and events that occur at this time will affect the entire planet. Add Pluto to the mix and we are experiencing a grand square, sometimes called a cosmic cross or T-Square. Jupiter comes into play as well as it also squares Pluto, ‘The God of the Underworld.”

In other words, four powerful planets are all in the mix creating stressful angles to each other. The end result will be change in the world and change in our lives. This is the most important configuration of the year and will be occurring through mid-August. The most stressful period will be the last few days of July going into the first 10 days of August.

New York astrologer-Author Mitch Lewis writes, “The Saturn - Uranus opposition has much to do with power struggles, the reversal of power and the redistribution of wealth. The last time Saturn opposes Uranus was 1965 – 7. It resulted in a huge escalation in the Vietnam War; the entitlement programs; and the end of the Johnson presidency. The transit took so much out of him that he simply could not run again.

It took until 1982, almost 16 years, to make more than a marginal new high and begin a new bull market.
And that period was a cupcake compared to what we are facing now. No matter what the next decade holds for us, we as individuals and as a collective must find ways to enjoy life and to redefine our needs.

Jupiter retrogrades on July 23rd, and then squares Pluto the next day.
When Pluto squares Saturn, the stock markets go down. When Pluto squares Jupiter, they can go in either direction, but usually exacerbating the prevailing one. In other words, if the markets have been going up they will go up faster. If they have been going down… well, you get the point.
When Jupiter opposes Saturn as it will August 16th 2010, historically the markets also go down. There are very few bullish signals, although a good trader could cherry-pick and find some strong investments opportunities. Any of the major issues we have been watching, including the Gulf, the financial markets, the governmental infighting, to name a few, could be blown out of proportion now with the combination of transits.

Remember, Jupiter does not always bring you good things. Usually it brings you more – of anything. For example: All of the major issues we have been discussing are precariously perched on the side of an historic precipice. Our financial markets, the Gulf catastrophe, the recent insane Supreme Court decisions on election finances, gun control, etc. are all leading up to an internal power struggle the likes of which this country has only seen a few times.

As we approach the changes that will be necessary to truly enter the Aquarian Age, the collective works in unconscious ways to further that event, including breaking down any situations, businesses or governments that are preventing that transition. We will see the reversal of power in a number of situations throughout the world, as we did in 1965-7, the last time Saturn opposes Uranus. This will set off a number of nation’s charts as well as that of some national leaders. Mr. Obama has Venus at one and a half degrees Cancer. This won’t pass without affecting his life severely.

Pluto rules oil, as I have proven through the years in my lectures and predictions. With Pluto about to square Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus and Mars, I don’t think we are about to get any good news from the Gulf. The entire population of migrating birds in the Western Hemisphere, approximately one billion, stops in the Gulf of Mexico Gulf States to flood their fields north of the Gulf in the hopes that the birds will land there instead. One can pray, but do you think a species that has stopped in the same place for 25,000 years will suddenly make a detour because we put up a “Rest Area” sign somewhere else? Oh what schmucks these mortals be?

Full Moon in Aquarius-New World Order?

This month’s full moon is at 2 degrees of Aquarius on July 26 in the sign considered to represent collective humanity. The ruler of Aquarius is often overlooked.

Uranus, the planet of unexpected events, and unusual/shocking twists and turns are the rule rather than the exception with this sign which is often present in revolutions, rebellions, wars and disasters. New governments are born out of wars, coups, and rebellions, and seldom throughout history has it been a stable process without great cost to many.

The co-ruler of Aquarius is Saturn, the taskmaster. It opposes the Sun in Leo creating the atmosphere for unexpected shifts, twists and turns of a dramatic nature.
Mercury is opposing Neptune July 26 and 27. We will hear more news of oil and weather related disasters. It could bring inspiration of you are creative or psychic, but otherwise believe half of what you hear and try and avoid making decisions until the planet of communications moves past the planet of illusion, delusion and confusion. Dreams may become prominent and this combination can make many people tired and confused.

Saturn Enters Libra-Diplomats to control their own armies?
On the first day of Saturn’s entrance into Libra news reports state the US State department will be fielding their own army in Iraq. Libra is the natural ruler of the seventh house of relationships and partnerships/laws and governments, and Saturn opposes Uranus, and squares Pluto, creating a grand square among four major planets that will bring shifts in laws, governments and power structures in the world. The state department is planning to experiment using civilian contractors rather than the US
military when US troops are withdrawn by the end of 2011.

Pluto in Capricorn/Neptune in Aquarius=oil and water disasters

Another oil spill is being reported in China, off China’s NE Coast. The slick, located near the oil port of Dalian, in Liaoning province was caused by the explosion of two oil pipelines and is now said to cover an area of 170 miles. News of the explosion that occurred last Friday is just recently being reported in the mainstream news. To read that story click here.

The oil spill in the Gulf is reported to be 50 miles long and 40 miles wide.China faces a toughyear. Like people, countries have birth charts and the birth date of The People ’s Republic of China is October 1, 1949, 3:01PM making the Sun of that country a 7 degree Libra. Saturn is now squaring Uranus, and within orb of conjuncting the Sun and will be exact by the end of September creating harsh situations, bad economic conditions and placing hardships upon the people. By October Saturn is conjunct Pluto/Neptune in China’s chart and if the oil situation is not under control by then conditions will exacerbate and become much worse.
With Mercury opposing Neptune
during this full moon oil spills will be in the news and we are at great risk of weather related accidents and problems, as well as lies and confusion about what is really going on.

Libra is the natural ruler of the seventh house of relationships and partnerships/laws and governments, and Saturn opposes Uranus, and squares Pluto, creating a grand square among four major planets that will bring shifts in laws, governments and power structures in the world. The state department is planning to experiment using civilian contractors rather than the US military when US troops are withdrawn by the end of 2011.
To read that story click here. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/07/22/AR2010072203393.html?hpid=topnews
The oil spill in the Gulf is reported to be 50 miles long and 40 miles wide.
China faces a tough year.
With Mercury opposing Neptune during this full moon oil spills will be in the news and we are at great risk of weather related accidents and problems, as well as lies and confusion about what is really going on.

JULY - AUGUST 2010 - THE MOMENT OF TRUTH!

July 2010 is a month of change in the world, and the way we live on planet Earth, but it will not be without turmoil, upheaval and unexpected events on the world stage that will affect our lives.

The June 26 lunar eclipse in Capricorn conjuncted Pluto making it an intense time with a multitude of events. Capricorn relates to the Earth, and the world saw massive flooding in Brazil leaving hundreds dead and many more homeless and injured. Tornadoes and hurricanes appeared in parts of the world that are normally free of such events and the BP oil spill continued and still continues to take its toll on humanity and all life in its path. Events will be further complicated by rough seas and the hurricane, ‘Alex,’ as it makes landfall. Pluto is known as the ‘God of the Underworld’, and can relate to crime and underworld figures and within hours of the eclipse 10 alleged Russian spies were arrested by American Intelligence agencies, and the head of the Afghanistan war left his post under fire.

At this time we will be forced to look at new ways of doing things both individually and as a collective. Nowhere is it more apparent that we must find new ways of caring for the earth, than the oil spill in the Gulf. I do not expect the spill to be contained any time in the near future and as all life in the sea (and human ways of life) continues to be wiped out, public outrage will increase. This is signified by Uranus entering Aries-the sign of the individual. Aries is ruled by Mars, the God of War, and in another time the collective might have ‘taken up arms,’ against BP. It is not out of the realm of possibility that individuals will ‘take up arms,’ and rebel against governments around the world that are no longer working for the people. Jupiter is in Aries as well, and whatever Jupiter touches it expands. We will see breakthroughs in science and technology, but Aries is ruled by Mars, the God of War and we are at risk of explosions, fires and unexpected outbreaks of war and violence throughout the summer.

The solar eclipse on July 11 is the companion eclipse to the previous one in Capricorn. Eclipses come in pairs, and we continue to experience eclipses in Capricorn/Cancer until next summer. Eclipses serve as guideposts showing us the direction and theme of events we will encounter for some time to come. Capricorn is the natural ruler of the tenth house of business, priorities and reputation and rules the Earth, business, banking, mining and the financial markets. Cancer is the natural ruler of the fourth house, the foundation, the home and the homeland and is called, ‘the end of the matter.’ Clearly, these eclipses deal with the end of an old way of life, and it is up to us to discover and invent new ways of life.

The New Moon/ solar eclipse is at 19 degrees of Cancer on July 11, 2010 at 3:40 PM EST. Cancer is an emotional sign and ruler of the home and homeland. It’s ruler is the moon, the luminary body that changes every 24 hours. The US is a Cancer country and we will be dealing with events that affect the fourth-tenth houses. In other words, our home/homeland and priorities. Mercury trines Jupiter giving the day potential for upbeat communication in general and communication regarding the government (s). But, Venus is conjunct Saturn in a parallel (similar to a conjunction where the two planets are together at the same degree) creating a somber mood. Author/Astrologer Celeste Teal calls this eclipse, ‘Victory Over Obstacles,’ and states, ‘Cancer eclipse spotlights interests relating to domestic issues, homes land and the crops. Eclipse falls in degree of fixed star Castor: of a wicked influence; associated with decapitation, fevers, rape and murder. For the USA eclipse brings emphasis to foreign affairs, long distance travel, higher education, publishing and religion. There is practical problem solving. Financial stress present with delay of new opportunity for expansion and growth. Banks and markets subject to fluctuation. Unusual trends in pursuit of pleasure, romance and entertainment; restrictions apply. New educational programs are costly. This eclipse is of emphasis to the White House, the UK, Vatican City, Los Angeles, Manhattan, NYC and Roswell, NM.” Those signs most affected by the eclipse will be Cancer, Capricorn, Aries and Libra, or those who have personal planets in a sign being aspected by the new moon.

Of course, the most important event in July and the entire year is Saturn’s entrance into Libra on July 22. It will remain in the sign ruling laws, governments, relationships and partnerships of all types until October of 2012. Saturn gives us structure and stability, but not without restrictions delays and hardships. Any gain through Saturn is earned, not given.

As Saturn enters Libra it opposes Uranus and Jupiter at 0 and three degrees of Aries, respectively. It creates a square to Pluto at 3 degrees of Capricorn and forms a configuration known as a T-square. This is a complex astrological pattern that does not occur often, and is a harbinger of change, disruption and unexpected events in the world. We can expect to see change in terms of governments and partnerships among nations, laws and business, the financial markets and unexpected situations will occur in the US and around the world. There will be struggles over laws, partnerships, individuals and corporations, and the potential for additional Earth changes/events. If the Gulf Oil spill has not been stopped it will reach a critical mass. This aspect will be present until mid-August, and it does not have to be exact for events to occur.

The last time this configuration occurred was in 1930. Three months after the Stock Market crash of 1929, Pluto was in Cancer, Saturn was in Capricorn and Uranus was in Aries, as it is today. The transit occurred again in 1932. During that year there was a massive famine in the Ukraine and four million people starved to death between winter of 1932 and summer of 1933, and of course it was the decade of the Great Depression that lead up to the events of WW11. We are at risk of food shortages globally.

June-August 2010: A Window of Opportunity

For some time now, the economic news has been dire and most of my astrological reporting has reflected that. The world recession/depression is not over, and we have miles to go before we sleep, so to speak, but on June 8 an unusual occurrence begins when Jupiter enters Aries, the first sign of the zodiac and conjuncts Uranus. The typical manifestation of Jupiter and Uranus is money and/or opportunity.
If this combination aspects personal planets in your chart in the 1-5 degree range in a soft angle, this transit should bring some form of additional money/opportunity. Among those who will benefit the most are Aries, born March 21-26, Gemini’s, born May 21-26, Leos born July 23-28, Sagittarians, born November 22-27, and Aquarians, born January 20-25. Opportunity is not limited to these birthdates, it all depends on your individual chart and what this exciting transit is hitting.
On a world level Jupiter-Uranus is/will bring some exciting discoveries/opportunities in science and technology. A vaccine is being developed for breast cancer in the US. Follow the link to read about this development. http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2010/may/30/breast-cancer-prevention-vaccine-trials Another major breakthrough is using stem cell research to replace hip replacements- These are but a few of the scientific breakthroughs popping up. Uranus tends to bring about the unexpected.
One author refers to Jupiter-Uranus as ‘our saving grace.’ It is a transit that creates opportunity, courage and will breathe new life into the world, and to us, as individuals.
Of course, the downside is that Jupiter expands what it touches and Aries is ruled by Mars, the God of War, increasing the risk of some type of explosive situation.
But, with this transit, positive results will ensue, and if it is setting off a planet in your chart—make the most of this time.

Full Moon - May 27 at 7:07 EST

May’s full moon occurs on Thursday May 27th at 7;07 PM EST at 6 degrees of Sagittarius, the planet of expansion. The downside of expansion is that everything may be exaggerated or blown out of proportion. Sagittarius is a fire sign, no wallflowers here, and the natural ruler of the ninth house of travel, education, law, foreign places and people, and outlook on the world. Before this full moon completes it will square Saturn and Jupiter which are currently in opposition to each other, thus holding the potential for swings in the financial markets, news concerning money, finance and events that have a sobering quality. Saturn goes direct on May 30, and we will be dealing with reality, and reality based situations, like it or not.. Uranus is about to enter the sign Aries for the first time in 84 years and we are on the precipice of major change in the world. It is only fitting that the sign ruling expansion should usher us in.

What's Up on the Planet...

The US will continue to be plagued with unrest, upheaval, anger, slow or no job growth, political gridlock between the parties, and angry talking heads throughout the spring, as well as angry voters among both political parties.

We will continue to see earth related catastrophes and disasters around the world through May, June and July and throughout the rest of the year. Airlines will face major losses as a result of the volcanic Ash Cloud that grounded traffic in Europe.

Summer will bring unexpected losses for major financial institutions and big business. There will be legislative reform for banks and Wall Street, but it will be hard fought. Summer...especially July and August will bring unexpected, explosive situations around the world that will involve nuclear weapons, or rumors of nuclear weapons with a situation narrowly averted. The end of July will be an especially critical time and could very possibly change the way we live our lives.

May 2010 - Uranus Enters the Aries Point

The first weekend in May started out with a bang with an unprecedented oil slick encroaching upon the gulf coast of the US, an attempted car bombing in NYC, and historic flooding throughout Nashville, TN, and the South. This is due to Saturn opposing Uranus, along with Jupiter conjunct Uranus, which will continue throughout most of the month until Uranus moves into Aires on May 28.

Saturn opposing Uranus in Virgo/Pisces will continue to create volatile, violent, unexpected, and stressful conditions in the world that will relate to situations affecting the earth itself such as the earthquakes and volcanoes we have seen in recent weeks, and a new factor is now added into the mix that includes water and oil. The Gulf oil cleanup will be massive, hidden factors are involved, and no one will want to fully take the blame. Today, May 5, violent protests are occurring in Greece due to spending cuts in a country that is in serious financial trouble. The volcanic ash cloud has re-appeared in Europe shutting down airports in several countries again. Virgo relates to the earth, oil, banking, healthcare and jobs. With Jupiter and Uranus together in Pisces, we may see more situations that involve flooding, or situations that involve water, electricity and airlines.

Uranus opposing Saturn last occurred in the mid-sixties, a time of unprecedented social change, that totally changed the world in which we live.

Uranus enters Aries this month at zero degrees. Known as the Aries Point, this is an event astrologers have been looking at for many years. Aries changes signs every seven years, and it will enter the first sign of the zodiac for about two and a half months, before retrograding back into Pisces for a final stay until 2011. It takes Uranus 84 years to complete its trip through the twelve signs of the zodiac, so this is considered a major astrological event. Uranus was last in Aries April of 1927-March, 1935. According to astrologer/Author Celeste Teal, Uranus at the 0 point of Aries relates to the world at large and public events that will occur swiftly.

Uranus is the bringer of change, usually suddenly, unexpectedly, and with an element of shock. It is a catalyst of upheaval, and it is often disruptive and with little to no warning. While Saturn may keep situations in check, move slowly and cause delays, Uranus is the force that will break free from everything that restricts it, thus there is usually no question about moving on. Uranus is referred to as the lord of lightening, thunder, electricity, and called the Great Awakener. With Uranus, you may expect the unexpected, and events happen sooner rather than later.

Uranus is in the sign Aries, a cardinal sign ruled by Mars. The energy of cardinal signs work quickly and in a visible way. Aries, represents the self, the ego. There will be people in the world that will make themselves and their desires and actions known with Uranus in Aries. Words that would describe Aries are belligerent, excitable, quarrelsome, self-centered, enterprising, active, courageous, and ambitious.

As soon as Uranus enters Aries, it squares Pluto at 4 degrees of Capricorn. A square is a 90 degree angle creating obstacles, problems and issues. Capricorn relates to the earth itself, business and banking, and we will likely see further issues that will be catastrophic in nature, including situations involving business and banks or financial institutions. These situations will occur suddenly and unexpectedly, and the issues are not limited to the earth or business. Uranus in Aries is explosive and volatile and we will likely see violence not limited to escalations in the Middle East. Uranus squaring Pluto calls for drastic revisions of basic goals and objectives, the desire to overthrow existing conditions, revolutionary attitudes, unfamiliar circumstances and irrevocable destruction and changes in conditions, and perilous circumstances and events.

On July 22, when Saturn re-enters Libra again, it will create a T-square between 3 planets: Uranus in Aries, opposing Saturn in Libra, being squared by Pluto in Capricorn. Astrologer/Author Cal Garrison writes, ‘The most powerful point of conflict will occur between July 22, 2010 and August 2, 2010, when Saturn and Uranus line up in direct opposition on the horizontal axis of the cross of the matter. That axis is Mother Earth’s body. The level of tension between the two planets leading up to that window will determine how much of it translates into cataclysm. During that nineteen day period, Pluto will be retrograde at three degrees of Capricorn-close enough to the base of the World Tree to create an extremely tense set of variables. With three of the most powerful planetary influences shaking the axis of the world, bringing all their might to bear upon it, the imagery alone gives fair warning. It is an understatement to say this is a precarious time. If Saturn refuses to step down and mankind wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, Uranus will inevitably haul out his ultimate weapons and Pluto will respond accordingly. If a pole shift is meant to be part of our experience, it could very well happen between July 22 and August 2, 2010.”

Other transits of interest in May include-

On Tuesday May 11, Mercury goes stationary direct at two degrees of Taurus for the next four days. It is generally when Mercury is stationary direct or retrograde it does the most damage. We can experience communications breakdowns, accidents, miscommunications and unexpected situations come to the forefront during this time. Thinking is slow and deliberate, and decisions reached during this period are often irrevocable.

May 16, 17 and 18, Venus, the planet of love and money squares Saturn at 28 degrees of Virgo. This can represent a cooling off period for love, relationships that have been limping along may end, and it is not good for finance or the financial markets, and we may hear more negative news relating to money, and negative situations relating to women.

On May 23, Venus opposes Pluto at 4 degrees of Cancer. Venus/ Pluto can be considered obsessive, jealous, and prone to disruption in your love life. On the positive side, you may regenerate your relationship with this transit, resulting in a more satisfactory outcome. We will likely hear more news relating to money, finance, and power struggles. This transit will affect women, and Pluto deals with the underworld and involves sex and it is not called the ‘planet of vengeance, for nothing.

May’s full moon occurs at 6 degrees of Sagittarius, the planet of expansion.

This is a time to expand your thinking and awareness of the world around you, and explore new opportunities and ideas. Sagittarius is generally considered exuberant and open to new situations on a personal level. It is the natural ruler of the eleventh house of friends, hopes and wishes, as well as groups and organizations.

In the case of this full moon, it falls within three days of Mars opposing Neptune becoming exact at 27 degrees of Leo on June first and second. We may see another disaster on the world stage that involves water, chemicals, or gasses, or be dealing with an existing one in some new way. While the full moon in Sagittarius may be expansive, take all new ideas or proposals with a grain of salt until this transit passes. Neptune is the planet of illusion, delusion, and confusion and what appears expansive, may turn out to be an untruth. Mars-Neptune relates to secrets, deaths, fraud and deception, especially relating to corporate affairs, infectious diseases, gas, oil, water, explosions and flooding, and lies.

It is an interesting time to be living on the earth. May 2012 is exactly 19 months away from December 2012, the end of the Mayan calendar, subject astrologers and prognosticators of all kinds have studied for decades. It is a time we will live to see and that which survives this period will be transformed or become stronger, and we will all come to know the truths within ourselves. We are teetering on the edge of the precipice as a civilization, and as the character Klaatu said in the movie, “The Day the World Stood Still ,” At the precipice we change.”

Full Moon in Scorpio!!

This month’s full moon occurs at 8 degrees of Scorpio on Wednesday, April 28, at 8:18 EST. Scorpio is the natural ruler of the eighth house of death, rebirth, taxes, other peoples’ money, and sex, and it will be these areas that become a focus at this time. It is a deep and intense energy.

Scorpio Sizzle-Full MoonScopes!

The influence of the full moon actually begins roughly 5 days before the full moon, and 5 days after, so we are starting to feel/experience the energy of this full moon at this time. Full moons usually relate to endings and culminations of events.

The Sun lines up (conjuncts) with retrograde Mercury at 8 degrees of Taurus, squaring the full moon, which will create emotional situations, issues with women and the home, (homeland), as well as issues concerning money and finance, and sex that will come out into the open. Superficial answers will not suffice at this time, and this Full moon is occurring at the peak of the Saturn-Uranus opposition, meaning that it is time for change in areas of your life that have not been working out. Some of the change may be unexpected.

Venus is at 3 degrees of Gemini, squaring the Saturn-Uranus opposition within a 5 degree orb, bringing up changes in money matters and relationships that are no longer working out. If you’re relationship has been limping along it may end at this time. It is time to get to the core issues that you have been dealing with, and deal with the facts.

The time is now to take stock of your financial situation. In terms of the world stage we may see situations involving accidents, and situations connected to issues with the earth. The major oil spill that occurred about 10 days ago is a situation that comes to mind, and I do not believe we know the extent of the damage. It is a volatile time, and issues will become intense regarding the financial markets, money and financial reform. Hidden issues will come to the surface, and there will be issues on the news of an emotional nature and relating to women. Financial reform will be the focus, and if for any reason it fails at this time, it will be re-visited before 2012.

Aires-Eighth/Second houses-Sex, death and rebirth, taxes, insurance other peoples’ money and earned income as well as self-image.
Taurus-Seventh/ First Houses-Partnerships and relationships of all kinds. Someone may make a move toward you. Relationships may reach a turning point or end if they have not been meeting your needs.
Gemini-Sixth/Twelfth Houses-Work, Health and Fitness, issues that are hidden and the subconscious mind. Visits to Dr.’s and hospitals, or news about such.
Cancer-Fifth/Eleventh Houses-Friends, love affairs, group associations. If nothing else is blocking it, it is time to go out and play! Cancer-this full moon is for you!
Leo-Fourth/Tenth Houses-Matters of priority, the home, business and work. Sometimes the fourth house is referred to as, ‘the end of the matter.’
Virgo-Third/Ninth Houses-Legal and medical matters, education, travel, publishing, issues with neighbors and communication with others.
Libra-Second/Eighth Houses-Money, earned income, self-image, taxes, debt other peoples’ money and corporate finance, death, rebirth and sex. issues with relationships and partnerships.

Saturn's Last Retro Ride through Virgo!

Saturn, the planet of restriction and structure retrogrades back into Virgo, for a final four month stay on Thursday, April 8-July 22 It will not return to the sign of Virgo for another 30 years. During Saturn's final swing through Virgo we will be dealing with many issues both individually and collectively. All planetary cycles are cyclical, and Saturn was last in the sign of Virgo November of 1977-September of 1980. If you are old enough to remember this time, you remember gas embargos, inflation, stress, high interest rates, unemployment, recession and war in Afghanistan. Does this sound familiar?

Collectively, we will experience issues dealing with the earth and land itself. It is no surprise we have seen two coal mine accidents within the last 72 hours, both in the US and China. Nor is it a surprise at least two earthquakes have been reported within the past 72 hours, as well as an upsurge in suicide bombings in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan.

Saturn in Virgo is in its final opposition to Uranus, the planet of sudden unexpected, sometimes explosive incidents. Virgo relates not only to the earth and matters connected with the earth that include including mining, it relates to the banking system as well. As long as this opposition is in effect, we will be subject to incidents that relate to land and natural disasters, issues and change regarding mining, drilling for oil, and the banking and financial markets. Virgo also rules health related issues and healthcare. As the planetary transit is an opposition, there will continue to me opposition from those who do not support to the recent healthcare reform bill. Jobs, or lack thereof, will be a focus as well.

The opposition creates harsh energy on many fronts. Uranus wants change, and Saturn wants things to stay the way they are. The end result is that change will occur as a result of the stress. In many areas change is needed in the US. The recent coal mining disaster points to the fact that an estimated 50,000 people make their living going into mines that may not always be safe. One surviving miner stated that no mine is safe, as the companies that own the mines help create the laws that govern them. The US has faced an energy crisis for several years now, and this winter heating bills skyrocketed at a time when many people were hurting financially. President Obama is determined to open up oil drilling in several states, and is pushing his agenda for ‘green’ fuel. We must make changes at this time, or face the consequences.
The transit affects us globally. More banks may fail or not survive audits in the US and abroad. Some European countries are on the verge of bankruptcy including Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Spain and Greece, referred to as the ‘PIGS,’ in monetary circles, and face increasingly fragile financial circumstances. It is being reported that the wealthiest citizens of Greece are pulling their money out of banks and sending it abroad. This transit will test the mettle of what US banks have learned (and implemented) since the original bank bailout.

On a personal level, Saturn opposing Uranus will create stress and friction in our personal lives as well. On some level, everyone on the planet will experience trying circumstances, some more than others. Relationships and situations that have outlived their usefulness may well end at this time. You will be affected to a greater degree if the opposition is hitting personal planets or house cusps in your chart, especially in the signs of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini and Sagittarius in the 24-29 degree range or alternatively in the 1-3 degree range of these signs. The end result will be change in diet, health, work, or whatever area of your chart the opposition is occurring.

The opposition between Saturn in Virgo and Uranus in Pisces is within orb (within 2 degrees) the rest of April through May 26. It will peak, being in exact degree April 12-May 1.

Change is not always pleasant or easy, but is the only thing in life that is constant. If your relationship, job, or some other situation has outlived its time and you know this, don’t try and force circumstances. The universe probably won’t let you, anyway. Many great events are born upon a change of plans. Use caution, circumspection, and be careful, always. But go ahead and move forward when possible. Your new life awaits.

New Moon in Pisces!

This month’s new moon is at 25 degrees in Pisces today, Monday, March 15. New moons represent times of new beginnings, and Pisces is the natural ruler of the twelfth house of things secret and hidden, the unconscious mind, hospitals and institutions and time spent alone.
Pisces rules the spiritual world, and represents the realm of sages, and the ages, mystics, and creativity. It is a time to look into your heart for the answers you seek, and remember that true love is unconditional.
This new moon falls within a degree of Uranus, the planet of sudden, explosive, and unexpected events that come from out of the blue. Uranus rules technology, airplanes, adverse weather conditions involving water and fog, earthquakes and electricity. Watch for complications with technology and save all information on your computer.
Mercury, the planet ruling speech, communication and travel is conjunct Uranus today and tomorrow, so be careful driving, and, new ideas should withstand the test of time. Hasty speech is a common them with this transit, and ideas should be thought out before acted upon. There will likely be more accidents than usual.
The Sun is conjunct electric Uranus on Wednesday, continuing the theme of unexpected events, and we will see this energy play out upon the world stage one way or another. Uranus also represents the ‘cutting edge,’ and on the positive side pay attention to your creative urges as they could lead to novel and unique ideas. New ideas are likely to be unusual and non-traditional, but they may be fleeting. Above all, consider any new idea, communication or action carefully before implementing it.
If you find yourself getting more agitated than usual, take a deep breath, and this energy will pass quickly. With Uranus involved, events and situations can end as quickly as they began.

Full Moon in Leo - The Show Must Go On!

This month's full moon occurs on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 1;18 AM, EST at 10 degrees of Leo. Leo is the natural ruler of the fifth house of children, friends and love affairs, so it is within these areas in a general sense, we will experience much of the full moon energy. Leo is the sign of the showman (or woman) and the energy is dramatic and intense. It is time to experience the child within yourself! Just don't resort to childish actions or manipulations, and be aware that you could experience these types of behavior from others' around you during the peak hours of this full moon.

Full moon energy starts to occur days before the full moon becomes exact, and most astrologers use 3-4 days before and after in terms of timing for the events that will play out. On Wednesday, January 27, as we are coming into the full moon, Venus, the planet of love and money will oppose Mars at at 11 degrees of Aquarius.

This transit will involve shifts in the financial markets, and men and women may have opposing viewpoints. As a matter of fact, it may represent a clash between the two sexes. And speaking of sex, sexual energies may be heightened, but the energy is purely sexual in nature, as opposed to warm and loving. The attraction may be there, but it is up to you which way to direct the energy, and misunderstandings can occur on a number of fronts, especially in the realms of love and money.

Thursday, January 28, the Sun opposes Mars, creating an atmosphere prone to agitation, ego's out of control, and the potential for accidents, even violence on the world stage. Mars can make you feel that it is important to express your feelings, especially angry feelings. The best way that I have found to deal with Mars is to let the energy pass; let a few hours or days go by and see how the difference of a day changes things. Usually the urge to express yourself at all costs changes, and the things that seemed important to say, often are not-- given 24 hours. No matter how you cut the pie, this volatile Mars energy is coming in on top of the full moon creating tension and agitation that must be acknowledged one way or another.

As the full moon is at 10 degrees of Leo, it is within 1 degree of being conjunct Mars at 9 degrees of Leo. This is a super-charged full moon with a lot of energy that must be used constructively in some way, as emotions and feelings will be running at an all time high. It has the potential, if the energy is not used constructively, of turning volatile and we will see this energy play out one way or another on the news.

Of course the most important transit that is occurring along with this full moon is the Saturn-Pluto square that is exact through the first 9 days of February, and remains within orb throughout this winter. This transit doesn't need anything more to set it off, but that is precisely what a full moon will do. Fortunately the full moon in Leo isn't squaring or opposing this configuration, but it will add a great deal more energy to it, nevertheless.

Saturn squaring Pluto creates situations involving a great deal of frustration in the business world, as well as relationships of all types. It creates delays and points out what our limitations are. I refer to it as a 'ruthless force, as the energy of Saturn and Pluto create an inability to move forward. it is dangerous and volatile and the world will be a better place when this square passes.

The energy will start to diminish and lighten up some after the first 9 days of February. But, the energy of this transit isn't gone until it's gone. The combination is so volatile individually and in the world, the last time we had a hard transit between Saturn and Pluto was in the days preceding 9-11.So, be careful, don't get too carried away with anything and use the energy to it's fullest potential.

The highest and best possible use of full moon energy in Leo is to discover the inner child within yourself and finding out what that little voice inside really seeks. In terms of activities, we can all use a little more fun these days, and the fifth house represents children, social activities, restaurants, wherever you go for fun! Good Luck!
